  1. I've had these pipes for a while, after buying them off of my landlord, who swapped them for loud pipes, right after buying the new RSV. Since I still have an RSV, I don't want to give them away. $260 should do it. If interested, trossetos@gmail.com. Just trying to get some bucks to pay for a new stater, that just failed.
  2. I started out on a 650 Maxim, that popped great wheelies, but sounded like a screaming brat at highway speeds. Then went to an 89 Venture Royale. Put about 90k on it, sold it, and asked my Venture buddies to find me one of those Black Cherry bikes. Found 5, picked one with 17k, and still riding it, at about 95K.

Since I still have an RSV, I don't want to give them away. $260 should do it, as OEM has them for $711 each. If interested, trossetos@gmail.com. 4. Hey! Us woke people got rules against watering the cactuses!!
  5. Yup, the prophetic last days. Just calculating the years, from Adam and Eve to the present, in 2033 it will be 6000 years, six of God's days. Then the millennium, the 7th day of rest, will be started by Jesus. Nope, can't calculate the exact times of activities, but we should know the season. Subtract the 7 years that believers enjoy the wedding feast, and that leaves only a few years, before the tribulation period starts, when God starts adjusting the attitudes of the world's brats, with Satan totally off of the leash. Just food for thought.
  6. I agree with the vacuum sync idea. Years ago, I bought one, via Venturers.org, and learned that it takes only 15 minutes, once you're hooked up, to get'em sync'ed, and purring.
  7. I've got some OEM exhausts. Had a landlord sell his RSV to get a Spider, and sold me his OEM pipes because he had cobras on his bike. My current OEM's are still giving no problem. Wanna talk, trossetos@gmail.com. Even have those aftermarket handlebars that came with my bike, but never put them on. Interested? same email.
  8. On the subject of Rear Shock, I have my old one in the shipping box, to be possibly rebuilt and available to whoever needs a working shock. I was pleasantly surprised by the handling that the new shock provided. If anybody wants it, don't be bashful, make some noise.
  9. I recently looked for the R hand cruise control switch replacement new. checked 5 different parts places, with nada zilch results. Told to go to Yamaha. Yamaha said only one new, and it's in Japan. ???
  10. 06 RSV cruise control won't engage, no lights when set switch pressed. Every time I try to select RSV area, then search, in only shows old ventures, never the RSV models. Replaced R hand switch, still, no lights, no CC engage. Any help appreciated.
  11. In doing some brain picking, I noticed that my 06 RSV has been doing the pogo hop on the back shock My mech. is looking at Progressive shock replacement. Any suggestions on an appropriate fix, or correction to his choice of shock would be appreciated.
  12. Years back, late for a meeting about 20 miles away, 21 degrees. Bundled up & hauling ass about 85. Got to the meeting and was handed a wind chill chart. At 45 mph at 21 degrees, I went off the chart at -64
  13. Would you still have the pictures of the Jason Mod. I'm trying to help out a 1st gen owner who'd like to git r done. If possible, email trossetos@gmail.com thanks.
  14. Hey ya'll. Went to the old site, venturers looking for my old 1.st gen pics of the Jason Mod that I posted a couple decades ago, & found nothing about it. Doing a general google search on "Jason Mod" dropped into your lap. So far, so good. My history: Like Steve Martin, started out at the bottom, I born a poor Greek child. Live in Palm Coast, ride an 06 RSV with the Jason Mod, that I'd recommend to anyone. Before that, an 89 VR. Do miss the shock pump on the control panel.
