Kregerdoodle Posted July 20, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 20, 2008 Janet has been in the Hospital sense last Monday, they finally did surgery on her Friday, they cut a 3in long x 1/2 wide gash across her knee, cut out the bad tissue and stuffed it full of foam, ( Wound Vac ) well yesterday, she finds out she is alergic to the foam and the tape that they use, so all of that had to come out. now they are using 4x4 gauze soaked in saleen and then a dry compost on the top, this has to be changed every day, the wound needs to heal from the inside out, so it will be open for awhile, and I get to learne how to change all of that out. She will probably be in the hospital all this next week to make sure that it does not get infected again. I know she is ready to come home. Please keep her in your prayers!!
