Steve S Posted Monday at 12:51 AM #1 Posted Monday at 12:51 AM I have been struggling with going from the Venture to a trike for several months, so I bit the dust and went to check out a nice Goldwing. It was a beautiful trike and well maintained so I was really interested in it. However, I had NEVER even sat on a Wing before, so I was not prepared for the experience. I was totally shocked at the cramped feeling I got when I got settled in on it before even starting it. I told the owner it felt tight and he said he was used to it. We rode it for about 30 minutes, and the cramped feeling kept getting worse. It was a wonderful ride on a bike that handled well, But I felt so uncomfortable and cramped I had to get off ASAP. I know Honda makes a quality bike and liked the power it had, but I am going back to the drawing board to find trike with fuel injection that has more room for my long legs. And having owned a Harley Road King, I am not interested in another one. I did see a Suzuki Boulevard C90 on Facebook that looks nice, so I am going to check it out this week. 3
Motorcycle Mike Posted Monday at 12:21 PM #2 Posted Monday at 12:21 PM That's the same problem I've always had with the wing. Been on several different seats that give a little more leg room but not enough for me. Great bikes, I wish I could get comfy on one. 1
etcswjoe Posted Monday at 09:28 PM #3 Posted Monday at 09:28 PM I tried out a Wing and bought it, mainly due to my bad hip but found out real quick it makes you sit up and even though I thought it would be too small for my extensive bulk ad height however it has been great for me.

When you going to make the jump to a trike
bpate4home Posted Tuesday at 10:49 AM #5 Posted Tuesday at 10:49 AM Since my stroke last year I've given serious thought to a trike. My wife is also pushing for that (she knows I don't want to give up riding. In mid February the Firm I worked for closed its doors and I've been out of work. So now I have minimal insurance and not riding out of extra precaution. I may need to sell the 2018 by the end of the year to pay bills. When I get a job I'll be looking hard at a trike. 2
Red Ryder Posted 51 minutes ago #6 Posted 51 minutes ago Hey Steve, everyone, I had a wing with csc sidecar. The bike was very nice, lots of power, but like you I could never get comfortable with it, always felt cramped. Bought a RSV/Hannigan Trike with independent suspension, but sold it, then bought a 2019 Harley Triglide. Been happy with it but sure miss my Yamaha RSV, Later-
