BlueSky Posted September 8 #1 Posted September 8 Talk about iron butt rides. I think this man sets a record! 2
N3FOL Posted September 8 #2 Posted September 8 Impressive for sure. I am curious how his daily route looked like. His stamina appears to be second to none. 1
Freebird Posted September 13 #3 Posted September 13 I certainly couldn’t do it. Especially now but probably never could have.
Steve S Posted September 14 #4 Posted September 14 I rode ONE 900 mile day, from New Ulm Minnesota to Hopkinsville KY in 18 hours. There is no way i could ever do 1000 miles a day for 4 months. He is a strong man.
BratmanXj Posted September 15 #5 Posted September 15 I did an I.B. Lake Michigan Loop as my 40th Birthday "bucket list", got home in 18hrs and joked with my riding buddy that we should have planned the 1,500 Gold ride just in case. 5yrs later and my knees hurt every morning and hands getting numb on the commute to work....and I wonder how I did it with such ease. 1
RDawson Posted Tuesday at 11:33 PM #7 Posted Tuesday at 11:33 PM I did 1098 miles on my IB run in 2019. No desire to ever do it again, never mind every day.
RDawson Posted yesterday at 01:19 AM #8 Posted yesterday at 01:19 AM I just saw a video, today was #143 2 to go. 2
