In spite of Don's new Avalanche, the Detective recognized him from a picture he had seen somewhere, he also noticed the mysterious sealed envelope on the dash and saw the glare from the phone Eileen was texting on. After all, he had been put out to pasture for far too long and the desire to have it over somebody else overcame him,,, and he was on a blue 1st gen after all, and it was just itching to be ridden under full pressure. Didn't matter much to the newly installed officer that his legs were still some painful and that his memory recollected the last time a guardrail caught him,,,, his bike was blue and faster than the white machine in his sights,, and so the chase was on, the Avalanche was running low on gas, it rear tires screaming under the duress delivered by an overpowered, fuel injected, 8 cylinder power plant of gigantic proportions, and the blue Venture trying it's best to weave it's way through the blue smoke left in it's wake. Don was in the middle of explaining to Eileen how disappointed he was in her for not fueling up the Avalanche instead of being so concerned about an Ice Cream Meet n Greet and hardly noticed the limping Detective now approaching the Drivers window. The Spyder rider looked over and noticed that somebody in a Chevy was being accosted by the local constabulary and so decided that it was time to add a distraction. So off he went, first dong a full burnout in the clockwise direction and after he had the rear tire warmed to his liking he stood the steed up on it's hind end, just to show how disgruntled he was over the action of the suited officer. So much power under the hood and with the pedal to the metal those eight majestic cylinders chewed through that new load of fuel at a surprising rate. White just doesn't get away from blue,,, he needed help,,,, did he have any friends in the area?????? where were they when you need them,,, he looked at Eileen who was still talking on the phone, that was supposed to be out of commission, and she had a serious look on her face. Don interrupted her to ask where all their friends were,,, she replied, that talking to Greta, she had learned that Jonas was out taking flying lessons and was planning to scare the boots off of his best friend.........
