Motorcycle Camping in the Blizzard

Some of you know that I bought a Ural. I dont plan on camping in conditions like this anytime soon, but its nice to know that I COULD:

So when this Ural thing was 1st posted it tweaked my interest speacialy after watching some of the u-tube clips. After watching this I decided some how I gotta have one. Trouble is there is a small matter of money standing in the way. Hint my birthday is coming up

Looks kind of cold.......To each his own, but I prefer the 5th wheel with central heat and air, satellite tv, queen sized bed ect ect......LOL

 

I know my definition of camping out has changed a bunch through the years. Dad and I used to tent camp out in the snow to Deer hunt. Just not into that any more. Now we drag the Camper to the farm......

I remember motorcycle camping with a closeline & tube tent along the Blue Ridge Parkway, in the rain, about 30 years ago. I was Young and Stupid.

I'm just not young anymore,,,, which, fortunately has also made me less stupid. I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last time!

Once up one a time, we and another couple went to Colorado 4th of July week. 105* when we were in Pueblo. That night we went to Monarch Pass camp ground, up around 11,000 feet. Got up the next morning with 2 inches of snow on the bikes and tents.
