Reddog170 Posted August 7, 2011 Share #5 Posted August 7, 2011 Nice. Lots of work and well worth it. Looking forward to seeing and hearing more as the bike progresses. And welcome, the $12 spent here is the best money you will ever spend. Shaun
dingy Posted August 7, 2011 Share #6 Posted August 7, 2011 Finally, somebody that can keep up. There are several on here that have put VMax parts in. I may be a bit over the top, Ive been told it would have been better to get a VMax and put the luggage on it. My frame and plastic is about all that's still 83. Few other things, but not much. Gary Rebult the swingarm, New rear shock, replaced all OEM brake lines with teflon lined S/S. new brake pads, new Jorden mufflers, Then before I could finish putting the plastic back on, I noticed the clutch slave cylander leaking!!!! Maybe 103 dig in the shop is to hot for the bike. (And yes, It'll keep up. The guys at Bay Cycle in Bayonne N.J. nick named it scarey fast.)
