Hmmmm, gotta work on that 2nd gen already, Eh Charlie?

 

 

Check all the plugs you can get to, if it was a 1st gen it'd be easy to do!

 

Good luck, you might be ready to ride when it finally gets warm enough to ride up there!

If it's the type of stereo with external speakers, swap the plugs for the left and right channels. If the left channel goes quiet the problem is in the player. If the right channel stays quiet, you've got problems in the speaker or cord. Also make sure that the balance control didn't get moved all the way to the left side.

There is also a chance that the switches, etc are dirty. Get some good electrical contact cleaner and spray around each of the buttons and knobs on the front (but unplug the thing first). After you spray each button and knob, turn the knob a few times or push the button a few times to help clean out the gunk. I would do the speaker thing mentioned above first, and then try this.
