Guest ReinyRooster Posted September 21, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 21, 2007 Well, I guess one of the many things that need doing for the 2008 VentureRider International Rally is to design a patch and t-shirt design. For those that don't know, here are the facts: Date: July 7-10, 2008 Location: Kitchener, Ontario, Canada Let's get those creative juices flowing and see what we can come up with for designs. I would suggest we give this contest a few weeks at least for those who might suffer from temporary "designer's block".

Sweetnothing Posted September 21, 2007 Share #9 Posted September 21, 2007 Don, I like the first one much better than the 2nd one. 2nd one seems to be too busy. Some where in between the two designs I think you did loose a few screws though:rotf::rotf:
Sweetnothing Posted September 21, 2007 Share #10 Posted September 21, 2007 Buddy, I think you need to change the colors to red and white....Canadian colors, I vote for that!:rotf:

Thom Posted September 22, 2007 Share #12 Posted September 22, 2007 DON , IF YOU CHANGE THE MOOSE TO 1ST GEN AND CHANGE THE DEER TO A 2ND GEN THAN CHANGE THE BEAR TO A BANANA SPLIT IT WOULD BE PREFECT :rotfl::rotfl: Here is my initial attempt. BradT Posted September 22, 2007 Share #13 Posted September 22, 2007 Here are two design ideas. Reiny both patches have different dates. ? Just an idea ? On the first one, try and centre 2008, put the Logo centred under 2008 and dump the flag. Maybe add the CDN/American flag at the bottom Brad
brscooter Posted September 22, 2007 Share #14 Posted September 22, 2007 Maybe a loon laughing at a dollar as he passes it up. You would know just before I vacation there.
Mean Dog Posted September 22, 2007 Share #15 Posted September 22, 2007 Ok folks I need some help here. What type of program you are using to design your ideas for these patches. I have to come up with a chapter patch for the Central Mississippi chapter #114 of the SCRC and I have no idea how to go about it or what program to use! I know this is probably not the place to ask for this advice but I see how great you all do on the venture patches. I have taken over the 1st officer position for this chapter and I am lost for a design. thanks, Mark

Freebird Posted September 22, 2007 Share #20 Posted September 22, 2007 They both look good. Haven't decided which one I like best yet. I like the background of the square one but sort of like the round shape.
Guest ReinyRooster Posted September 22, 2007 Share #21 Posted September 22, 2007 Here's one with a little more "Canadian" flavour. After posting it I see I cut off the word Ontario after Kitchener, but it would be there.
