They attach with spring hooks only, so the length and diameter of tailpipe compared to stock would be required to keep them. Thanks for any feedback... Louder and lower sound through the gears. Bark a little when you get on the throttle hard. Relatively simple to install. You need longer mount bolts and a few washers as spacers. To answer one of your questions - no, your extensions will not fit. There are three different styles of Macs, straight cut, side baloney cut and downturn. They all are a consistent size all the way back though, approximately the same size as the thickest part of a stock muffler. I've had them for seven or eight years now and am very happy with them. Dick It has been a while Dick. MAC doesn't offer the straight or slash cuts for 1stGens any longer. As far as attaching the stock turn down tips, the MACs are already turned down.
