Sunday, May 11th, which is Mother's Day will be the day that my first baby is coming! We've been in the hospital for 7 weeks due to my woman's water breaking at 27 weeks. He'll be 34 weeks this Sunday when she has her C-Section operation. His name is going to be William Alonzo Umberger-Valencia. Pics to follow!

They Look pretty good on there! Let us know how you like them!

Good evening to all. Over the weekend, I got some spare time to install Denali lights on the RSV. I’ve been thinking about this for some time now, because I got tired of not being able to see much at night. I chose the Spots/Hybrid lens for day and night rides and I think I was able to focus the lights properly (at least in the garage). Tomorrow’s weather is looking good, so I should be able to have a better idea at night to focus them the way I like it.

just got back from trying out the camper, and putting 500 miles on the bike. went down to Florida and told my brother that lives there to led us, he did and most of it was in Alabama. Trina and I did ride down to Flora-Bama had a good time but I'm ready for Vogel.

@Chaharly The 2nd Gen RSV takes H4 headlight bulb. I ordered mine here https://dieselleds.com/ and they carry the best LED bulbs that I know. I've bought several LEDs from them for my truck. I just replaced the bulb and it is so so bright. Plug and Play? I guess I can say yes.
-
Was it just plug and play for the LED bulb?

Whoever uses WD40 on their brakes will never have rusty rotors.
-
It does that🤣🤣🤣. I sorta like my WHOA pedals to work though. Reminds me of the old joke of telling someone to WD40 squeaky brakes to quiet them down.
-
Leave those brakes the way they are, it makes riding way more exciting!😂
-
I need to spray down my brakes to see if they’re salvageable or need replacing. Been too busy with getting the shop repaired and cleaning up tree damage. I’m ready to burn some miles myself.

N3FOL started following First BIG ride this year (375klm / 233miles)
-
Two swap meets in one day. Not bad at all. Even though your swap meets did not turn out to be not so great, your ride to and from is the most significant.
-
Went to Woodstock Auto Swap meet this morning(what a waist if time and $10) then did a 2 1/2 hr(375klm) motorcycle ride to Fort Erie Motorcycle Swap meet(actually Cristal Beach arena) which turned out to be a bit of a waist ( I knew it was 99.9% Harley but you never know for sure)but did buy a Canadian flag and a louder horn than I have! Was supposed to be rain all day but only ran in and out of wet roads and heavy drizzle! All in all it was a GREAT ride anyways!!!!!

Good morning to all. Hope you are having a great Sunday with friends and family. We've had several thunderboomers last night and will stay wet for the first part of Sunday. We stay mostly cloudy all day and more rain is coming. It is a perfect day to work on installing lights on my '07 RSV.

Back story - Last year I had a no-start issue that I THOUGHT was tied to a bad clutch safety switch. Bike ran fine the 2nd half of last year with a paper-clip jumper in the clutch switch plug. Over the winter during maintenance I changed out the clutch switch, bike starts fine until I take it off the lift and I have the No-Start condition happening again! Bike turns on with the key, fuel pump primes when I turn on the kill switch, but I hit the start button and get Oil/Engine light and no starter. No change for side-stand, clutch pull, or neutral. Looking over the wiring diagram and if the bike is in Neutral the starter interlock relay should bypass the side-stand & clutch switch. We pull the interlock relay and start checking with a probe-light and have what look like decent grounds. Put the relay back in and the bike now starts. We clean the relay plug real good and everything seems fine now. The worry in the back of my mind is we didn't ACTUALLY solve the problem and it's gonna crop up while we're out riding somewhere. I know there is a frame ground in the lower left fairing by the horn... I believe there is one on the right side of the steering head. Is there any other location I need to check for the starter safety interlock system?

I hired an Amish crew to redo the shop roof. They got here Tuesday morning at 7:00 by horse and buggy and the four of them tore off the 1/2 of the old roof still there, installed new lathing, repaired a damaged truss, and had the new 2000 foot roof on by 1:30. They had a great system and worked together like a well oiled RSV. The best part of my day was they saw my Bluetooth speaker in my boat and used a phone I didn’t know they had and were jamming to some 80’s country. I really got tickled to hear Amish men singing to the Oak Ridge Boys. Elvira Oohm poppa oohm poppa mow mow.
