  4. Yea it’s running fine but I’d have to look it up but I think I saw something that had you changing them at some ridiculous point but hey I’m not a mechanic. Thanks
  5. I used to put new plugs in my '83 and '86 every year, but I haven't changed the plugs in my '06 RSV since 2019.
  6. Hey don’t know but I remember seeing something about the spark plug intervals and seemed like you don’t get a lot of miles out of the plugs . Is it really necessary to change them this frequently. I just hate taking off all that stuff to get to them , are the videos really correct that you have to remove the fuel tank to get them out ? I have a 2004 midnight venture . Thanks

  8. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2730016183875736/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks I found this on the FB Marketplace in Memphis. It might be a solid investment for a parts bike for someone in the near vicinity. If I had room to store it I'd be taking it home with me.

  10. Yesterday
  11. Good morning to all. Today, Friday, may be the best day to cut my grass after all the rain we've had over the last few days. Weather forecast has stated that our first heat wave is coming our way starting this weekend and throughout of next week. With that said, my consolation is that I get to ride again to and from wherever my destination is. Ride safe.
  12. Thanks
  13. Welcome from Nicholasville Ky. 07 RSTD 124,300 miles on the ticker. Still runs like it should.
  14. I'm not on this site very often.
  15. Last week
  16. After several websites had me chasing my tail for the location of the tip over switch AI finally indicated that the 2005 did not use this switch on this year model, only the engine kill switch on the handle bar. I think AI apparently got it right.
  17. Thank you for your input, you are one of very few who eve take the time to respond. Having said that, this far from the first time I have not received any response regardless of a single or double post. It's at time like this I question the value of paying for this site. One would think others have had similar issues to many issues I have posted about. I can't have the only older RSTD. On the bright side, I'm learning more and more about my bike and how to take of many of the issues. Again, thanks for your input.
  18. I think there will be a heat wave where temps will be in the 90's. Have fun and be safe on your quest of the Iron Butt.
  19. Again congratulations!!! Enjoy!!
  20. I didnt keep track of the CWS this year, but I'm sure they had quite the crowd!!

  22. Maybe i can give you some insight into why no-one responded. They probably figured that you would get your answers from the other post. Suggest you post only once and once only to get more attention and replies.
  23. Don't know why the fuses are not accessible for everything. It's good to work on your bike, knowledge is a good thing.I try to do everything I can. Lot's of information here .
  24. Yeah I have one and use it most evenings to keep my range of motion and limber.... Thanks for your concern
  25. David, Just a thought, I have bad Arthritis in my left shoulder and recently had a stroke where my left arm lost most of its motion. I picked up a therapy shoulder pulley from amazon and it helped immensely for range of motion and shoulder strength. Not sure if you have something like this but using it daily help alleviate the pain and now I'm just short of full motion. Not sure if it would help you but. . . . . 26. As someone who only has 2 muscles connected in the left shoulder and can't lift / push more then 10-15 lbs with it... The Spyder is the only touring bike, that I've tried, that I could comfortably ride... I tried a tri-glide and the steering was too heavy in slow speed maneuvers.. When I'm having fun in the twisties, I pay for it later with shoulder soreness... But it's doable... The power assist in slow speed maneuvers make it possible that I can one hand the turns.. The soreness comes due to having to hold on when I shift my torso in fast curves... I had to put "short reach" (longer) bars on it in order to be able to hold on to the left grip in a right hand full turn of the wheels. (my left arm reach is almost half the length of what it used to be..) Turning the wheels at a dead stop is problematic as I don't have enough strength to push or pull them with my left shoulder. I have never had a problem with my 21' Spyder F3 in the 4 years, 20,000+ miles I've owned it (knock wood)...
  27. Did you get to see our Murray State Racers in Omaha this week? Little school making some big waves in college baseball.
  28. @Chaharlyactually the event is well behaved even with at least 3 major Bike groups including Hell's Angels to name one! Lots of police presence every where! Not as many having the riot guns and body armor like some past times! Every one seems to get along as like the area is neutral ground! You don't bother them,They don't bother you!
