I build various break out harnesses for lighting systems, rear brake and turns, inside the fairing turns, aux power system and behind the rear tag jumper adapters. Also I have a rear light bar system that mounts under the trunk. I also build trailer harnesses for 4, 5 and 6 wire systems, completely plug and play no cutting or splicing of wires. Winter is truly making its presence felt. I am near the MD/PA line and we are freezing tonight. 14 degrees is way too cold for me. We expect to get a good amount of snow by Sunday. The only consolation I see is that we are getting a little more daylight day after day.

Update! Bike is running amazingly well… My shifting is good but a little stiff. Will need to assess!

Do you think Don can install a countdown timer on this site (until Spring) At least something to stare at on the monitor all day.

23 this morning but clear. Got about 10 minutes worth of snow yesterday on towards evening!

I wish. It’s 14 degrees and about 10” of snow here.

It will be 2 months since my last ride. This weather is not cooperating.

It couldn’t be this simple!! Positive battery wire was loose… really?? She fired right up! But….. tach is out. I did check #2 and it does have spark. Bike is back up and running though, will keep assessing on the tach.

Spray some starter fluid into the air cleaner intake and see if it starts. If so, its a fuel problem.

Bike was running great and now. …. Urgh puff of smoke / loud pop coming from single carb . Bike does not run. All electrics work . I have spark on all 4. If my Cdi was bad , I wouldn’t have spark, correct? any help is appreciated.

Good morning. Happy Thursday. Looks like I'll be drinking more whole milk than 2%. Thank God I am also a meat eater. We are back to winter temps once again. Windchill is at 10 degrees. No ride for me for a few days then I'll see. Have a great day!

I just used the fuel line segment that came from the petcock and looped it back into the fuel inlet at the back of the carbs. Removed the rest of the fuel line and the pump. When I get a chance, I'll take and post pictures.

I got in 80-90 miles today.

I've heard a bit about this before. Did u just remove the pump and join the inlet and outlet hoses together or reroute the supply line directly to the carbs?
