Yeah I have one and use it most evenings to keep my range of motion and limber.... Thanks for your concern

David, Just a thought, I have bad Arthritis in my left shoulder and recently had a stroke where my left arm lost most of its motion. I picked up a therapy shoulder pulley from amazon and it helped immensely for range of motion and shoulder strength. Not sure if you have something like this but using it daily help alleviate the pain and now I'm just short of full motion. Not sure if it would help you but. . . . . Amazon.com: Shoulder Pulley for Physical Therapy, Pulleys for Shoulder Rehab Over Door, Shoulder Pulley Over The Door Physical Therapy, Door Pulleys For Physical Therapy, Arm Pulley, Over The Door Pulleys : Health & Household

As someone who only has 2 muscles connected in the left shoulder and can't lift / push more then 10-15 lbs with it... The Spyder is the only touring bike, that I've tried, that I could comfortably ride... I tried a tri-glide and the steering was too heavy in slow speed maneuvers.. When I'm having fun in the twisties, I pay for it later with shoulder soreness... But it's doable... The power assist in slow speed maneuvers make it possible that I can one hand the turns.. The soreness comes due to having to hold on when I shift my torso in fast curves... I had to put "short reach" (longer) bars on it in order to be able to hold on to the left grip in a right hand full turn of the wheels. (my left arm reach is almost half the length of what it used to be..) Turning the wheels at a dead stop is problematic as I don't have enough strength to push or pull them with my left shoulder. I have never had a problem with my 21' Spyder F3 in the 4 years, 20,000+ miles I've owned it (knock wood)...

Did you get to see our Murray State Racers in Omaha this week? Little school making some big waves in college baseball.

@Chaharlyactually the event is well behaved even with at least 3 major Bike groups including Hell's Angels to name one! Lots of police presence every where! Not as many having the riot guns and body armor like some past times! Every one seems to get along as like the area is neutral ground! You don't bother them,They don't bother you!

Well I hope at the very least you can get out in the morning and enjoy some of the cooler weather. Planning on an Iron Butt this weekend. Omaha to Tahlequa and back. Gonna be about 97 here in Omaha

An update. Since no one responded I took the headlight apart and yes, there is an inline fuse in the housing for the light bar. In my case the fuse is fine and I did get the lights working but as soon as I put the headlight back together they quit again. I suspect a break in the wire so will pickup a new fuse holder and once I get it working, will relocate the fuse to and easier spot to get at it.

In your original post you said you had power to one of them. Usually that means the fuse is good -
Glad to hear you guys have the chance to experience and take part of some nice rides and 'get together'. On this end, I didn't get the chance to ride due to the weather this past weekend and got called in again for work once again. However, we are looking as some 90 degree temps next week, but I don't know if I am ready for all that heat after having some gorgeous temps lately. Whatever the case may be, ride safe and enjoy every mile on your bike. Once I can find time to work on the SVTC, I plan to install Denali D2s in front. (feeling excited)

Morning guys. Got to go out for a Father's Day ride yesterday. About 230 miles. Fiddled with the bike on Saturday, messed with the pilot jets and realized that the lower hose that connects the breather box to the crank was disconnected. Rode about 67mph with a light crosswind from the south and got 41.25mpg on the bike. I'm pretty impressed with that. Thinking about doing an Iron Butt this Saturday. I wont be able to go on any long trips with the kiddo at home, but I talked to the missus and she's fine with me disappearing for a day to do one. Going to ride from Omaha to Duluth and back is the plan!

I am new to Yamaha's and my son just acquired a 2005 Royal Star Tour Deluxe. Can someone guide me in the right direction to locate the tip over switch? I have a no fire problem and have checked all the safety switches with exception of the tip over switch. The manual i have suggest it's located near the kick stand but I have look extensively in that area but no luck. I have checked the kick stand switch in that area but that is all I can find there. I know about the ignition switch problems but checked continuity through it according to the manual and it test good. Thanks

Okay, still trying to decide no, discover why my light bar ain't working. Saw a post on another site that says there may be an inline fuse housed in the head light bucket. Anyone know for sure? Thanks

I checked Ebay and there were some Venture parts on there. Crash bars and cowling parts. Good luck finding what you need.

I had the Dunlops on mine. Local shop said they're unavailable, so I'm going with a set of Metzlers. They're more expensive, but I figure there's other places I can save money. Tires are pretty important.

Good morning to all! Happy Father's Day to all of you!
