Flyinfool Posted January 15, 2012 Share #2 Posted January 15, 2012 Keep the RPMs up around 2K and let them run till at least the cooling fan comes on. Short starts in the winter are bad for the transmission, the short run will cause condensation of water inside of the engine and it is not getting hot enough to boil it off. Short runs are like adding water to your oil. Just sitting there idling does not circulate the oil in the trans good. If you are going to run it in the winter it is best to actually take it out for a good ride to heat everything up good. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Although it does started and ridden just about every day In fact, I managed about 200 miles yesterday with friend of mine...
