TDunc Posted June 24, 2011 Share #1 Posted June 24, 2011 Ok, I must just be stupid. I have tried searching for the TSB or letter that has been discussed here. (so I can show it to my dealer that says no to the replacement of the clutch basket.0 I want to take them a copy so I can get the I basket change before warranty runs out. Can anyone that knows where it is send it to me or provide a link. Thank you greatly in advance. XV1100SE Posted June 24, 2011 Share #2 Posted June 24, 2011 If no one can point you to it, call Yamaha's 800 # and ask them about the directive. Or you could start at the Regional Rep and work your way up... provided you have time left on your warranty.
XV1100SE Posted June 24, 2011 Share #3 Posted June 24, 2011 Do a search for "Service Bulletin" and you'll see similar threads. If I come across the TSB I'll post it.

Freebird Posted June 24, 2011 Share #7 Posted June 24, 2011 I don't think I had actually ever seen an actual TSB on the issue. Thanks for the information.
XV1100SE Posted June 25, 2011 Share #8 Posted June 25, 2011 I had a really boring day at work today. When I did the search for "service bulletin" I went thru the hits and found the reference. It is there. Since other's might need this info easily accessible... is there a way to put it as a sticky? Maybe in the technical documents area? BradT Posted June 25, 2011 Share #9 Posted June 25, 2011 Give the dealer the Bulletin # and ask him to print a copy so that the two of you can read it. Brad
saddlebum Posted June 25, 2011 Share #10 Posted June 25, 2011 We should have a Tech Bulletin section, read only of course. Didn't you say you were bored Don and wanted something more to do, I am sure I heard you say that.
Freebird Posted June 25, 2011 Share #11 Posted June 25, 2011 I would have no problem with that if we had anything to put in it. I only know of a couple counting this one though.
