Tried on a Gold Wing the other day and my rider noticed that the backrest is significantly taller than the one on our 2009 Venture. Found a "custom" seat on the Star accessories site that says it's 3 inches taller than stock (link below). Does anyone have one of these? Does the rider notice a significant difference in the height? And finally, is swapping out the OEM backrest beyond the abilities of a mere mortal (i.e. not a wrench)? Has anyone converted the lights around the circumference of the Rotor Covers to LEDs? Being that there are so many lights, my thoughts are that the lights combinations from both sides could be a significant draw.

Just replaced my Metzler with Michelin Commander (size recommended by Yamaha). I am totally surprised by the difference in handling this change has made. I had to fight the bike to make a turn with my old tires. Now, I just have to think about turning and the bike is half way there. I also noticed a significant increase in adherance. I am very happy with this change. Now I have to wait and see how much mileage I will get out if them. JCB -
How long have you been married? How about answers for people that are single, divorced, 2nd 3rd 4th 5th Marriage. Or maybe living in blissful sin with a significant other? This is one big-ass smiley!

I'm not finding anything putting "oil" in the search box, so here goes. What do you guys recommend? The owners manual says 20W40 and I can't find it anywhere. the closest I can find is 20W50 and I'm not sure if there is a significant difference or not. I really don't want to spend the money on the dealer brand.
