    I found out that social security made a mistake on my monthly payments. and im going to lose a few $$$ i wont be able to make it to freebirds for MD this year. last year it cost me just a little over $300. to spend 2 days there and that was not bad this included one night at the oberlin INN and i spent one night sleeping at freebirds in my car. so with the wedding trip to MN this 18th to 24th of may i will be tapped out for the month of june after rent and basic needs i will be dead broke till july. i will miss seeing all of you. have fun and enjoy.

    Yeah, You guessed it.....Linda and I are leaving for a long ride. We are taking a group on a trip to Northern California for 3 weeks and won't be back home until Sept 18th. So the set of seats that Dave Van Curler is sending me, will be the last ones that I'll have time to rework before I leave out Sept 1st. So if any of you want me to rework a seat (s), you will have to wait until after Sept 18th. This is usually the slow time of the year for my seat work, but you would have thought that I was having a sale on RSTD seats, where I've reworked 4 sets in the last week or so, not to mention a few pillow tops and a Vulkin? So I'll let you know when I'm back, Rick

    My much better looking than I better half Clare had applied for the local(Winchester, va) police department 6 months ago. After the 200 steps required to be selected, she was offered the job today, and will start the police academy on the 18th of January! I am very excited and proud of her, so I thought I would yell it out loud!

    Front wheel shake

    Guest posted a topic in General Tech Talk

    Got a 1989 Venture. While driving, if I loosely hold or let go of the handlebars, I get a terrible shake in the front wheel that would dump the bike if I continued to let it shake. I had the front wheel balanced and the front end checked but nothing. Got a dunlop 3 on the rear and a dunlop 2 on the front. Any help? I am leaving for British Colombia on June 18th. Thanks
