Would anyone know a good way to clean an engine without damaging the finish on the aluminum. Which I personally have done in the past. I have an '89 Venture Royale which can use a good cleaning. Thanks in advance, Steve

I just cannot beleive it , I pulled my rear tire to change the rubber and to grease my splines for my first time yesterday and the splines had already greased up from past tire changes . Took my tire and wheel to the dealer to have them mounted and they only charged me $20.00 to mount and balance , incrediable ! And as I waited for the service to be preformed (30 minutes wait) they rolled it out to me , again , new fresh red tacky grease on the splines . I think I'm starting to like these guys a little bit more . But then again , several past visits they did get a peice of my mind . Wonder if they remembered that , :rotf:. BEER30

OK, it seems that we as a group are buying quite a few Odyssey batteries, and I thought I'd toss out this idea on doing a group buy like we've done in the past. I called the Westcoast distributor for Odyssey, and because I've bought directly from them in the past my business is already set up as a dealer even though I've only bought for personal use. They are going to have a price increase right after the first so I can't quote prices yet, but can after the first. There's no way we could put together a group order in only a couple of days. Sorry I didn't think of this sooner...??? The group buy price will be based on 10 units minimum, and any mix of the PC680MJ (1stGen) or PC545 (2ndGen) batteries. There's also a question of a possible drop ship directly from the distributor which could save a few more bucks over all. More on that later. So, is there any interest from the board?? If not, that's OK, just thought I'd ask....

Greetings: I ride a 2006 RSTD and the past few rides my shoulders and back get quite sore/tired resulting in my having to stop every 30-40 minutes. I have ridden about 18,000 km this past year and this is getting worse -( it was not bad at the start) I have been thinking about the Mustang seat and backrest. Those of you who have switched to a Mustang or even a Corbin - did you find this helped the stiffness and soreness? How about highway pegs - will that also help? Thanks in advance Eugene

Last night while my black lab was taking my wife & I for a walk, a former boss and current friend of my wife's stopped to give us uninvited advise that anyone over 50 should not be riding a motorcycle. I didn't respond to him cause really, whats the point. I would like to show my wife some of the stats that I have seen here in months past on accidents/fatalities broken down by age &/or experience. I could see that he'd bothered her with his comments. Anybody have that stuff book marked? Tim Lantz Iowa Guy
