Can anyone help me with this problem.....my class for my 1983 VR is'nt working at all. Even when the key is in the correct position it just does'nt come on. Any ideas what the problem might be? Does anyone out there have a spare one they would like to trade for? I have quite a few parts so I might have something that you're looking for. Is there anyone close to Temple, Tx. who could help with the problem? As always.....any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone tell me where I can get carb rebuild kits for my 83 xvz12tdk Venture? I called a dealer and he could'nt find it in any of his books and another talked of trying to put one together. I have a spare set I want to rebuild also so any help will be greatly appreciated.

My question is.......Can I take the plastic off my 83 VR and take it all to a regular auto body shop and get it painted? Is there any difference in having them paint it or is there some special motorcycle paint out there that is supposed to be used?

I'm trying to find a repair manual for my bike and I'm not having any luck. Does anyone know where I can get one or have any suggestions? -
