  1. Never Mind I don't think this deserves a reply.
  2. You could do it yourself the swing arm is a pretty simple. If you can remove the rear wheel you can do it. http://http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=72631 But I doubt that is your problem unless you have a bunch of miles. My guess would be the Steering head bearings and there is probably a thread or two laying around here on that subject. Try a search on those. Bad rear tire will make it wallow in the curves also.
  3. So what would be the adverse effects of running that tire on the front of two wheels ?
  4. Just a few times. Sure is hard on the seats I feel sorry for the guy who has to do the Diamond Tuck upholstery. and if that is where I think it is it's not to far from home.
  5. They work very good. I figured out that if you place a short 2x4 across and under the rear legs before sitting it down you will have room to change both tires with out having to Jack the bike to the ceiling. I have been thinking about making me a longer set of legs.
  6. I plan on waiting till 2015 and buy a brand new 2013 model with a 5 year warranty. I almost bought a new 2011 a month ago but finally got over the itch.
  7. Joe sounds like maybe something is a miss. Before the gears 70 to 80 Mph on speedometer was no problem just drank more gas. Heck I have hit a lot faster than that passing a car.
  8. I haven't notice to much of a decrease in performance with the trailer just stayed in 4th longer. MPG dropped to about 35 on the interstate. I added the V Max gears this spring Mpg stayed about the same. But the performance was well worth it. Take off with a loaded trailer is a breeze. Only negative I have about it is that it changed at what speed the clutch is a little noise y so I have been learning the sweet spots again.
  9. I have seen them on another site, was thinking Diamond R sold them but looked and didn't see them. Maybe someone will chime in with a link. I'm just that much prouder of mine it's a bad deal for Steve wish him the best.
  10. Nice craftsmanship Love the mini Moonies.
  11. My wife is not joking when she says that but she is getting over it. I think.
  12. Last time I saw him was in Longview TX. with his small antique engines. He was there with his dad and after the show he was heading to Luckenbach TX for a beer. That was on 4/27/13 I bet he just forgot his dues as he has been busy with life. Don if he doesn't pay up soon I'll cover his membership.
  13. I see how to do it now ask a straight the point question and you get straight answers.
  14. Where you live I would bring it in the house and work on it during the summer in the AC and ride all winter.
  15. The 5 year warranty doesn't mean maintenance free. Any bike regardless of brand needs a good going over every year. You might also check saddle bag hinge bolts and latches , trunk bolts, brake calipers just to name a few. With a little TLC you won't have to wonder whats next. The better you get to know the bike the better you will know what kind of service your dealer is giving you. Stay away from loctite around the plastic.
  16. You should really try marketing that over at the HD dealership.
  17. Now who is being a tough crowd At least he came back and edited his original post. I would second the steering head bearings if you had them re-packed at 16,000 miles try the cheat method for tightening.
  18. Thats the one Thanks But I know he really has his heart set on 2nd gen trike he just hasn't been able to publicly admit it.
  19. No actually It was a blue first gen with matching sidecar on Ebay. I can't believe you would think I would try and do anything funny where Dan is concerned.
  20. link didn't work and couldn't figure out how to delete
  21. If this poll last much longer I'm going to get promoted to the biggest group.
  22. You better go buy a lottery ticket from what I watched on TWC.
  23. Our Oklahoma friends threatened again to day from bad storms
  24. Well I have never had a problem with the graphite and don't want to start a debate about it and agree valid points have been made. The major point to be made is moving parts need lubrication.
