To help me reach my goal of raising as much money as I can for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. My office has been asked to participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night walk on October 3, 2013 here in Columbia, SC. Our team name is Katie’s Crew. One of our attorney’s daughter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in March 2012, just days before her 13th birthday. She is now 13 years old and has been battling this disease with unbelievable maturity. She has had to endure several major setbacks during this time. Katie’s cancer treatment will end on June 18, 2014. I personally lost two brothers to cancer. We are endeavoring to raise funds for lifesaving cancer research and provide hope to thousands of patients and their families. The mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The funds raised by Light The Night participants will help save lives. We all know of someone who is battling this dreaded cancer and any chance of hope makes a difference in their survival. Help me help save lives such as Katie’s. This is a very dear cause to me and I greatly appreciate anything you can do! Any amount you give is that much closer to saving another life. Donations will be accepted by September 22, 2013. If you would like to donate, you can do so through a couple of options. My website for donations to this cause is http://pages.lightthenight.org/sc/Columb1213/bpowellmqq - right click and paste into your browser. Any donation check should be made payable to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Send me a message to get the mailing address for the check. Once again, thank you so much for your help. We are so sadden to hear of this news. Don was truly a wonderful kind person and he will be missed so much. I am thankful though to have been able to have known him. Heaven has gained another one of our Guardian Angels. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Awww, it's okay, Eck. I fully understand. I know you two were there in spirit, George and Jacque told me. The next time you come to Columbia, we will have to go to the restaurant, but you will need to bring Ben. He REALLY liked the girl servers there. Well, as a matter of fact, I think ALL the guys were impressed with the servers!!! Cute outfits too!:cool10: Love you two!!! P.S. I thought you were MUCH younger than 60!!!!:rasberry: -
