  1. Here's a Seecamp 32 that I've carried in my back-pocket for over 20 years. The wallet (Kramer) absolutely doesn't print and is smaller than many traditional regular money wallets. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Guns/get-attachment-2aspx_zps16948e91.jpeg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Guns/get-attachment-1aspx_zps54c9d879.jpeg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Guns/get-attachment-3aspx_zpsb22dd6da.jpeg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Guns/get-attachmentaspx_zps405dce78.jpeg Loaded with Mag-Safe it hits pretty hard. Seecamp makes the same frame in a 380. Stay safe ! Kurt
  2. I bought the bike new in 1993 and never changed anything. Here's a picture. Thanks Kurt http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Venture/get-attachment-1aspx_zps5fa5d0fc.jpeg
  3. It must be from a different year than mine. It's totally different from what fell off. Really liking the 'naked' look. Thanks again. Kurt
  4. Sig P-290 (9mm Double Action) ... I'm a big Sig Fan and my P220 (45) has been my winter carry gun for almost 20 years. It's a little big for summer carry. The P-290 fits snugly in its pocket holster and rides comfortably in my right front pocket. The velcro sleeve that fits over the holster stops it from printing at all. I bought it with the factory laser sights included. It also comes with a 2nd extended magazine. Stay safe out there ! 5. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Trips/get-attachmentaspx_zps37e2a8a4.jpeg Once I got home from my 4-day 1700 mile ride I tried to straighten out the side louvers that had gone haywire. The more I fiddled, the worse they got. Just like with the fender mascot that fell off somewhere in Virginia, I went on line and tried to find replacements ......... no luck ! So, I just took them off, and as was the case with the mascot, I actually like the bike better with them off than on. I'm just hoping the heat is not too severe. I'm not sure they REALLY blocked the heat anyway. Great weekends ... Here's the bike now. I guess I shouldn't complain, It's given me almost zero problems over the 21 years I've owned it. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Venture/get-attachment-1aspx_zps2aa90aed.jpeg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Venture/get-attachmentaspx_zps6d6b4d02.jpeg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Venture/get-attachment-2aspx_zps21dcdf9a.jpeg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Venture/get-attachment-5aspx_zps19b86b87.jpeg
  6. Coming back from North Carolina today, I stopped at a do-it-yourself car wash in Salisbury Maryland. The high speed sprayer was able to get all the old double faced tape off and the paint underneath looks brand new. I actually like the way it looks better without the mascot. It was another 'GREAT' 1700 mile 4-day ride. Even the rain couldn't dampen my mood. Thanks for getting back to me. Kurt Here's how it looks now ........ LOVE IT ! http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Venture/get-attachment-1aspx_zps1d5106d7.jpeg Here's the Bay-Bridge this morning at Dawn ! http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Trips/get-attachmentaspx_zps37e2a8a4.jpeg
  7. on my 1992 Venture Royale. Its the decorative piece that sits at the front end of the front fender. It fell off somewhere between Chambersburg Pa. and Charlotte North Carolina. I didn't notice it until covering the bike for the night in Charlotte. If anyone has one or knows someone who does, please let me know. I've already checked with the usual suspects. Great weekend. Kurt
  8. Rt #340 (Stonewall Jackson Trail) at about 3000 feet above seal level. :@) Kurt A Subway start ... http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Trips/get-attachmentaspx_zpsc89771ed.jpeg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Trips/get-attachment-4aspx_zps0e1ce0ca.jpeg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Trips/get-attachment-3aspx_zpscc819974.jpeg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Trips/get-attachment-2aspx_zps2ef8e039.jpeg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/kurt48/Trips/get-attachment-1aspx_zps2d084587.jpeg The haze didn't burn off till early afternoon. In Charlotte tonight, headed for Moorehead City and Beaufort tomorrow. Kurt
  9. Praying for good news ! Kurt
  10. I have to drive another 2 miles to my local Wawa, but that's fine with me ! :@) KPB
  11. I just did the 'Dragon' at a spirited pace and except for the 2 off-camber curves in its middle, it was a great ride. Like all roads ridden for the first time, your first time through should be done with caution and treated as a learning experience. As an old road-racer, this M.O. has kept me upright for over 45 years. I spent the night in Marysville that night before heading North thru Virginia. Route #58 from Abingdon to Galax is a ride not to be missed. I actually enjoyed its challenges more than the 'Dragon.' It was constant twists and curves for almost 55 miles. Ride safe ! Kurt

  13. I'd love to find a whole new (spare) fairing, especially the upper. It would great to have in reserve. I have an original (1969 1/2) 750 Honda that believe it or not I can still find parts for. I bought it back in 1970 while in College (Penn State), and rode it 4 seasons a year for 4 years. I have a really hard time selling any bikes. :@) Kurt
  14. After 11 months at the Spa (dealers) waiting for parts and undergoing a major rebuild, she's back and better than ever. I've had her 20 years this month, and she's spent most of that time at my place in Wyoming, where we would do 4 or 5 major rides a year. From Alaska to the Yucatan, no road was safe from our wandering. I rode her back East 18 months ago, and I think it's time to head back West. I just absolutely love this bike. Ride safe ! 15. and spent my last night in Williams Arizona. It's an old Rt #66 town and now sits on Rt #40 which has paved over much of old Rt #66. The town is still pretty authentic with a great Trainyard, and many stores, shops, and hotels that are a tribute to that bygone era. Try McGillicuddy'd for dinner. On the ride from Williams to Las Vegas I took the detour at Seligman (to Kingman) on old Rt #66. It was a little touristy (but #66 always was) but did provide a neat look back as to what once was. #66 merges back into #40 at Kingman, but for the hour I was on it, it was a very interesting ride. I hadn't been on this part of #66 since 1990 and it was nice to see most of the old hotels and restaurants preserved or in some state of renovation. Have a great ride. Kurt
  16. on a ride back from Alaska. It sounded like I was dragging a rake behind the bike. It was worst at low speeds. I did manage to get all the way to Idaho Falls before I had it replaced. A dealer should be able to tell you on the spot if its a wheel bearing. Ride safe ! Kurt
  17. The rental dealer referred to it as a 2011, so thats good to know. Only had 11,000 miles on it when I headed out. Kurt
  18. Thanks, I don't do much local riding. Most of my rides are condensed into 4 or 5 weeks of riding out West every year. I keep 2 Bikes in Idaho Falls, and as often as I can, I break away for a long ride. Kurt
  19. about 15 miles West of the city. Thanks Kurt
  20. I was happy to do it. Kurt
  21. Here's a few pictures from my latest tour. I just got back last week. Vegas to Calgary and back. The 2011 Goldwing was a rental and I can't speak highly enough about it. My 1996 Goldwing is a great Motorcycle, and Honda just keeps refining it. I also have a 1992 Venture Royale that I bought new in 1993. It is the best Motorcycle I have ever owned. I just wish more parts (e.g. Fairing parts) were still available. Thanks, ride safe, and have a great weekend !
