  1. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=55659 Check out this post!
  2. Have any of you ever been able to run 2 batteries in parallel on a RSTD? I have been thinking that it may help make sure that i always have power, but I am not sure how the increase in amps will affect the bike. Any ideas?
  3. I have had them on the faring for a while now, and the mount location is reinforced with a metal so it does not vibrate, and I have a relay on it too. I guess some people may not like the location and as you rightly stated, it is subjective on if you like the look or not. But thanks for the information, maybe I should have done a better job in my initial post in making all this clear in the first place.
  4. I bought a set of Burners high performance driving light kits QH-87CD which cost me only $18, and I mounted it on the edge of my Hoppe Quadzilla fairing on my 2006 Midnight RSTD. I wired it in to the CC port of the fuse box behind the lower front right cowling so that they come on with my headlight when I start the bike up. Check out my pix and here is the the link to the the lights on the Walmart website. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Driving-Light-Kit/16680058
  5. I have a RSTD 2006 midnight, and I was thinking about buying a trunk with an integrated passenger back rest, but I want to install it on to the OEM quick detach sissy bar that comes with the RSTD. Has anyone don this yet? and if so can you post some pictures so I can see what it looks like. Thanks.
  6. There is a second fuse box behind the right front cowlin near the rear foot break that contains the fuse that controlls the ACC power source. I changed the fuse and it fixed the problem.
  7. On the RSTD is there a fuse that controls the Auxiliary DC connector that is located under the drivers seat? Mine is no longer giving out 12 volts and I need to know what the problem could be if it is not a blown fuse? (2006 RSTD)
  8. The radio works on the full on position just not when in the ACC position so I know it is not the radio, but thanks for the response.
  9. Thanks for your reply and I will check on the right side for an additional fuse box. If that is not the problem then I guess I will be dinging deeper.
  10. I have a RSTD 2007 and I have an after market faring on it. I usually put the ignition in the first position which allows you to have power come in to the bike without having the headlights on and I could play my stereo system when I am parked, but now there is no power in the ACC position. I have checked the fuse under the left side cover and it is good. Is there anothe fuse box on the bike that may controle the ACC power or could it be something else? I NEED HELP BAD!!! Thank.

Here are the specs, and if you do buy one get it from www.phatperformanceparts.com it is about $350 cheaper than buying it from Hoppe directly Hoppe Industries "Quadzilla" Fairing - Royal Star Tour Deluxe [Hoppe-12V:None] [Hoppe-Chrome:None] [Hoppe-iPod:Ipod CD5030] [Hoppe-MJ:Mini Jack Aux. Input] [Hoppe-Paint:None] [Hoppe-Radio:Eclipse CD5030] [Hoppe-Remote:Wireless Remote] [Hoppe-Sirius:None] [Hoppe-Trim:None] [Hoppe-WS:8" Light Tint] I have also attached some pix below
