    I have an 05 Harley Ultra Classic and a 05 Yamaha Venture. The ultra has a 103 c.i. motor which makes it faster than the venture. I get a lot more wind in the face on the Harley cause it blows up between the fairing and the tank. The harley is more user friendly at low speeds , being a smaller bike probably helps. I like them both for different reasons. Both good bikes, but you,ll save money by buying a venture.

    Don,t forget the northern stars are having a rally in Russell Manitoba on July 23 to 25. Should stay away from that date.

    hey rick; I haven,t told the wife yet about leaning the bike against her car, maybe on payday when she,s in a good mood. Looks like most of the scuff mark is the silver of my bike, probable polish out. or I,ll blame it on the mall parking lot

    Hi Rick how ya doin, funny I should read this post today, I was leaving for work this morning, and dropped my bike in the driveway. I was backing out of my garage where my wifes car is on one side of the driveway and my travel trailer on the other side. About a 4 foot slot to back my bike down between them, for some unknown reason I let the bike lean a little to far to the right and it started to go. I was straining like crazy trying to get it up but couldnt do it. I gently leaned it against the wifes car got off and with a mighty heave I got it up I was so worn out by now the damn thing kept going over til it was resting on my trailer. You ever see a grown man cry? I got it up from there and only ended up with a small scuff mark on the fairing. Worst part is the big scuff mark on the wifes car. Oh well thats life, :confused24::confused24:I guess I forgot these ventures are more top heavy than a goldwing.

    Hi Freebird; Just installed your centerstand, must have taken me all off 15 mins. Just wanted to thank you for the quick service, installation instructions and the idea to make these up. My wife also sends her thanks, she doesn,t have to lay on the cold garage floor to check my oil anymore. Thanks again. trucker 41.
