  1. Wednesday Picked up replacement seat to replace my ripped pillow top on my 2012 Venture on Wednesday (from @ReinyRooster) and with ride there then to visit @Marcarl after having coffee with @XV1100SE & @ReinyRooster I put over 200klm on my "first ride this season" . Friday after figuring out how Utopia backrest mounted I met up again With @XV1100SE for coffee after he was done work.  Today did about 100klm to get the feel of the new to me seat and adjust backrest which fits me great and is a lot more comfortable   glad I bought it with the replacement seat  as mine was half the size and very uncomfortable but was better than nothing!  Looking forward to many more Klm's and get-together with my fellow Ontario Canada riders and hopefully some American riders(depends on Phantom Rider) to come!!!!

  2. Love my pillow top seat on my 2012 which has almost 180,000klms on it. It's been to Illinois and many other states for rallies and maintenance days. Was driven to work every day except winter snow on roads. Was road so much that it has split at several seams and needs to be repaired but haven't had a chance to get done. Son says great nephew does appolstery work but might need more material. Have looked on sights but replacement seats are way out of my affordable price range or too far away.

  3. I agree with everyone here as it is YOUR decision not anyone else's ! Phantom Wife(my other half)quit riding with me back a couple years ago when I was diagnosed with Diabetes 2 and lost 100lbs over that winter. I miss having her ride along with me but I understand!!  But I myself do not intend on stopping riding any time soon!!! As someone said you have the choice to come back any time YOU want but until then enjoy what you want to do for now!!

  4. Couldn't watch video as it said problems with it.

2 Thursdays ago had a side-swipe incident with car in front slowing down stopping and not turning onto street he was going to. Guy taking his driving test in his own car and hesitated too long and I stopped beside his rear bumper on passenger side missing him BUT I lost footing and bike fell over and put a couple scratches on his plastic cover and a couple on my front fender.  No harm to me as I just stepped off. Police just happened to pull up just after and we picked bike up. Rode to reporting center  and took statement. No charges! Payed out of pocket as it was only around $600 and guy said that was OK. Put in as report only to insurance BUT they put down as at fault so will have to see what that will cost me.
