  1. Thanx for the sugestions, will let you know if any work
  2. Alright everyone I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with. I have a 2008 Venture and the problem I am having is when I play the radio or satellite radio I can hear it great through the headset however when I switch it over to the speakers I get a lot of static. I split the faring and cleaned all of the connections and applied dialectic grease in them, however I still get the static through the speakers. I am at a loss as to what to try next. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
  3. Had rain for a few hours on the ride home, but not to bad
  4. I recently purchased the "Bagger Shield" which has a high and low setting on it. Quick releases allow for easy transition. Check them out at www.baggershield.com
  5. I put mine on about a week ago and I love it. Considering putting a second one on too. I didnt buy the bracket I just made a simple extension out of a piece of stainless and drilled a few holes in it to match the holes where the old horn was and a third hole to put the new stebel in. Works good for me Tazman
  6. Here is an e-bay link for a set that I have found, what I like is that he offers a lifetime replacement if any of the LED's ever fail http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400050834648&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&viewitem= Tazman
  7. If you want a really inexpensive pole then go to Lowes and purchase a 1/2" brass "split ring hanger". Then you can get a 10 carriage bolt that will fit into it. I put 2 of them on my luggage rack for less than $10.
  8. Me too, use the RAM mount and i really like the way it surrounds the GPS unit to hold it in tight
