  1. Truly unique.
  2. Good morning to all. Today, Friday, may be the best day to cut my grass after all the rain we've had over the last few days. Weather forecast has stated that our first heat wave is coming our way starting this weekend and throughout of next week. With that said, my consolation is that I get to ride again to and from wherever my destination is. Ride safe.
  3. I think there will be a heat wave where temps will be in the 90's. Have fun and be safe on your quest of the Iron Butt.
  4. Glad to hear you guys have the chance to experience and take part of some nice rides and 'get together'. On this end, I didn't get the chance to ride due to the weather this past weekend and got called in again for work once again. However, we are looking as some 90 degree temps next week, but I don't know if I am ready for all that heat after having some gorgeous temps lately. Whatever the case may be, ride safe and enjoy every mile on your bike. Once I can find time to work on the SVTC, I plan to install Denali D2s in front. (feeling excited)
  5. Good morning to all! Happy Father's Day to all of you!
  6. Great to hear you are back on the saddle. I've been riding as well over here since Monday after all the rain over the weekend. As far as your pilot jet issue is concerned, some may say to run seafoam through and hopefully the rough idle 'I assume' will go away. Ride safe.
  7. Good morning to all! Got called in to work over the weekend and the weather was a little bit unsettled, so just caged it. Grass cut Monday is inevitable.
  8. I've been on that similar dilemna in the past and I decided to keep my best and mostly used computer at home and buy a very dependable computer that I carry around to and from work and for leisure use, while away from home. I you are computer savvy and love to work on operating systems and have tons of time to do so, Linux is a great way to explore its potential. I tried Linux, but decided to stay with Windows to do digital comms as a long time ham radio operator. My suggestion to you is to just get rid of your old Win 10 computers since they are 'rarely' used and simply upgrade your current and mostly used computer to its full potential and enjoy it. It is true, the end of Win 10 is coming to an end just like anything else.
  9. Congratulations!!!!!
  10. Good evening to all. Looks like weather will be nice and warm all this week, so that means I'll be riding all week long. Ride safe everyone.
  11. Good morning to all. Hard to believe, but it is here. June is right around the corner and hopefully warmer days are coming. Gradual clearing and rain should be over by noon. Ride safe and have a great day.
  12. I've never test ride one, but I think I can see what you mean. Turning can involve a little bit of shoulders and some twisting on the torso perhaps especially on sharp turns.
  13. I really thought the steering is power assisted, but I may be wrong.
  14. Good morning to all. We had rain all day yesterday and later tonight0. No riding for now.
  15. Glad you made it out safely out of the rain and mud. Great experience like on the RSV is priceless. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Congrats on your 'new to you' bike. I really didn't know that Suzuki actually made touring bikes in the past. I think the more you ride the bike, the better it will run. As you have stated, plugs are on the way and that is a good start to start and hoping the bike will gradually improve over time. I am not so familiar on the Suzuki, but basic maintenance of the bike is where I would start.
  17. Good evening to all. We are going to have rain for the next three days, so there is nothing about riding and/or projects that I can talk about.
  18. Some red and yellow on doppler. I agree you must wait. I've been riding for the last 4 days. Time to take the truck to and from work and run errands for we expect 3 days of rain as long as mother nature will give us 3 great days this coming weekend. Holiday is just around the corner.
  19. I know on my 2nd Gen, I should always see that 'Green' N lit and this will ensure me that it is not in gear and is in 'Neutral'. But in the heat of the moment, sometimes it just don't mentally click right away. I've been in those situation several times as well. Glad you are able to call for advice via phone and it worked. I also agree that this forum is a very useful 'tool' just in case the unexpected happens. I am on an auto renew and should not worry about it unless Don gives me a call.
  20. Happy Saturday night to all! As much as I want to ride today since the weather is so gorgeous, I didn't get the chance. The 'boss' has other plans, so I just simply have to comply.
  21. Hello. I got them from the company website. https://denalielectronics.com/
  22. I really love the lights. I can see the side and much much farther in front of me. No cagers flashed their lights on me, so this tells me that they are now focused the right way. I really like so I am thinking of installing D2 Denali lights and may select the yellow lens for the SVTC in the near future.
  23. Good morning to all. We are having rain for the next 2 to 3 days, but glad to be able to cut the grass Monday morning. No motorcycle projects coming up, but I plan to replace plugs on the RSV over the next couple of weeks. Ride safe, if you have some good weather in your neck of the woods.
  24. Good afternoon to all ventureriders. Hopefully you are getting some ride in this weekend. Got called in this weekend, so I am just riding to and from work and our weather is just gorgeous as ever. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there. Ride Safe.
  25. Good morning to all. Raining all day in SE Pa. I got the day off... but got called in for Saturday and Sunday work. There goes my weekend. At any rate, hope you are having a great Friday wherever you are. Ride safe.
