Don't let that deter you, check out our tech section and do some reading. Lots of info and when everyone gets back, just ask and you will get your answeres.

  15. On my 86 VR I'll get around 40- 42 mpg day trippen 2 lanes at 60 mph. On my 09 Ultra w/stage 1 kit, I'll get 45- 47 mpg ...I can't complain about that.
  16. Don, I ordered my hitch and wireing harness from Kuryakyn. All electical connections are plug and play for the Harley. Sierra Electronics had my lower cords to me in 3 days, but they were for the J & M headsets. You will love how the saddlebags come off to work on things. Just remember to keep those bags locked when not near the bike. To easy to steal. I added a trunk light to mine and it was plug and play also. Harley really thought things thru about adding accessories and directions are easy to follow.
  17. More prayer's being sent for a speedy and complete recovery.
  18. I think Don is out looking at all the safety chrome and trying to figure out what to spend his $1000.00 on. So many choice's.....:wow:Start a list Don. Now you just have to decide if your going old school or custom look.
  19. Nice looking bike Don. How many Harley's does that make on this site now. Yamaha really needs to step up IMHO. Make sure you get the big Wish book...LOL..OH, and buying the bike was just a down payment. Congradulations. OH, and Brown Angel took my Ulta around the block yesterday and was gone for a half hour. Grinning ear to ear when he got back. I wasn't worried, just figured he fell in love.
  20. You can buy small live traps and bait with peanut butter. Take down the road about 5 miles and let loose. Or if you prefer, you can drop live trap in tub of water with squirrel still in trap.
  21. http://americaridesmaps.com/ This might help.
  22. Prayer's sent for him and his family and friends Rick.
  23. If you stay in Mackinaw City, Rainbow Motel is a nice, clean and family owned. Lots of riders stay there, and you park right in front of your room. From Mack City follow C66 to Cross Village and stop at Legg's Inn, a must see, follow M 119 ( Tunnel of Tree's) to Harbor Springs, nice place to stop and shop. Depending on how much time you have, you could follow 119 down to M31 and take to Traverse City and then follow M22 to Northport and on down to Manistee and Ludington. Lots of places to stop and shop on M22. If I remember right, gas and places to stay on 22 are scarce untill you get back down to 31 around Manistee and Ludington. I remember reading about a campground very close to the Mackinaw Bridge in Mackinaw City.
