I for one always look at Member Vendors when I need something for my bike..... Then I go to the section Venturerider Vendors section....... I have a new battery coming from Skydoc that should be here today:banana:. I could have driven 25 miles down the road and just picked it up for $10 less.... but this way I didn't have to leave my house and its on the way..... also its supporting other members.

I've been wearing Swat Boots for years. I like the side zippers. Depending on the season I can adjust them for warmer socks then just use the zipper for easy on and off. You might say they are adjustable. I don't buy the waterproof ones. I do use "Camp Dry" 2-3 coats on a new pair and they are good for the life of the boot. I don't join riding clubs because there is a mandatory meet / ride every month. I only post when I have something to say. Having a "post a day rule" would make this a babbling site....I'm very active on the east coast. I work approx. 12-15hrs a day and still find time to attend most of the M&E's on the east cost. I've put 100K on my bike because of this site and will continue to be an active member, But I will not become a babbler :whistling: BTW.... I don't care for almonds either....:crackup:

I'm still lurking in the shadows at least every other day.... Been doing that since 2005 and will continue. I have never posted much. Only 1367 (now 1368) posts. This is a hobby for most and as with all hobbies there has to be time between commitments.

I like this Idea.... I've never been to a INTL rally. Usually too pricey for me, between the registration fees, hotel and gas. Then being self employed I'm not making any money when I'm away. It gets expensive. If I could win the Hotel and Registration fees then I more apt to come. This seams to be cheaper the buying a trailer and could award more the one person the prize. Just my

+1 on progressive. we shop around every year and its still the best deal for us here in Virginia...
