  1. I drilled out the end of my pipes and removed the baffles, I love it, and have had many compliments. If you go to vstar1100.com and follow the instructions for the 1100, it is so easy. It took me about 45 mins to complete both sides. Cheap too. Miike Allen
  2. Check out CeeBailey. They make windshields out of aircraft plastic, and very reasonable. I just ordered one to replace my gouged one. I also cut down my stock shield on my 1100 useing a jigsaw with a fine tooth blade and masking tape. Sanded down thw edge and can't tell it was ever altered. Mike
  3. Go to vstar1100.com, click on exhaust and check out the modification of the 1100 stock mufflers. It is exactly the same for the RSV. I just did it yesterday and love the sound. Bike runs great. Not too loud, can still hear tunes,CB, and sometimes unfortunatly the other half on the intercom. It took me about 45 mins. total and $100.00 for a pair of stock muffs picked up on Ebay. I kept my stockers just in case. I do have a pair of Stock head pipes for a 2007 RSV in case anyone is looking for a pair in perfect condition. Try the modification, You will be very pleased. By the way, there are pictures and all on the 1100 site step by step. Ride safe All Mike Allen
