Motorcycle Helmets. They have become a point of frustration.They fit fine then they don't We finally had enough with the pain and head aches. The guys at the BIG Columbus store do not seem to be to helpful with helmets. I called Cycle gear in Columbus Ohio. I explained the frustrations to Doug. Doug was sure he can help us. YES he did. Robin and I spent two hours with Doug going through helmets. He hooked us up. The attention to the customer was outstanding compared to to other. This guy knew everything. He answered all questions. we ended up with Shoei for Robin and a Shark for myself. Expensive, Yes He started off with some inexpensive helmets. Thank You Doug from Cycle Gear in Columbus Ohio

We are going to be down that way on the 27 thru 30. Staying at the Iron Horse MC lodge. We will be in Morganton and Asheville in the beginning of the week On the weekend I would not ride 129 after 9:00 am. There are plenty of fun roads to ride. Be safe

I came across this while shopping online the other day. No experience with the product. I did not purchase it.

I just had my 600 mile service done. Cost 241.00 one more service visit, after that I will do my own oil changes. I am curios about what is involved with tire changes and adjusting to belt properly Ill figure that one out next year

I use the reverse when needed. When I accidentally pull into a slopped spot. Its also handy on gravel when the tire get stuck in an indent i did not notice. The bike rolls pretty easy without the reverse. I think easier than the Gen 2 I had. Enjoying the ride Dave

First thing is - Congrats on the weight loss. I have lost 56 pounds since last May. 2 years ago I was 306 and felt like crap. Now i weigh in at 235. I know it takes a lot of work. Thumbs up to you. Between the weight loss and exercise, You have to feel fantastic. I have been doing cross-fit for the past 2 months. At 54 my knees are not liking it. It is feeling better. My knees don't bother me as they did on the bike. I credit the weight loss and exercise with that. This year I plan to do some riding. included in my rides will some places to hike/walk there is so much to see. In the past I would get winded so easy. Now a little ride and some exercise. remembering to bring plenty of water and comfortable shoes Safe travels friend Dave

Robin and I have done this a few times. We have had a fun time. It has lead us to some new destinations around Ohio We think it would be fun to connect with a few VR members who may be interested in joining the fun. AMA Bike night info Located in Pickerington Ohio. If the weather is nice we meet around 1:00 pm at combustion Brewery in Pickerington Ohio. We can take a nice ride with a stop along the way at one of the many recently opened breweries. From there a ride over to the AMA Hall of fame. There is a few things going on over there during the day. We can tour the museum.For anyone that can not make the ride. Due to my lack of riding I have been putting off the get together unil I healed up . In February I had two disks replace in my neck and a some pinched nurves from spinal stonosis needed to be fixed I have been out of work for 2 months. I went back last Monday. Sunday was my first day out on on the bike . I covered 125 miles even got out on some good curvy ones. Looks like the sergury worked it was a pain free ride and I am not paying for it today. NOW I CAN HAVE AN ENJOYABLE SEASON April 28th I am going to Tennesse to have new tent and framing installed on my Bunkhouse camper. its going to be a good summer SO >>>>>> I am going to set up a campout for the fall closer to October so we have some nice colors I may do a june or July weekend as well

Leave the Brake fluid a little low when done. This will help the pads to wear evenly. Not to low just enough to allow the pistons to release all the way

At 300 lbs I would run 45 psi in the shock 50 psi with 2 up pulling the trailer. As freebird said these are rated for so much psi . The Dealer told me 60 any more can damage to shock Look at the base of the shock to see if there is any oil. That would tell ya the shock has failed Last year when my shock finally failed. It went from a wavy bottom out feeling to like riding a Pogo stick When the shock on my RSTD failed . pushing down on the rear of the it had a slow return Hope that helps ya. I went with a Hagon shock . The install is easy .Don't follow the direction in the Venture repair manual. There is a write up on here someplace with the easy way, Very easy
