I'm willing to bet your oil sloshed back off the level sensor and that's why your light came on. Or it could be a bad connection, possible even wonky dash... Btw I believe it is just an oil level sensor. Never ride faster then your angel can fly. I am as free as the wind on my face.

I would say something but will try to avoid it the best I can.. I have noticed that since the last administration I have had really hard time finding the older vehicles I had grown to love.. If I do find them they are sky high. Oddly enuff I don't have to go far to find the old bikes.. I HATE FUEL INJECTED COMPUTERIZED things. I want my simple 3 to 5 wire start... It sounded damned good too but last time I took the catalytic converter off a car I played he'll getting it inspected so I beat a hole thru it since it was straight and put them back on my Ford Tempo. My grandkids moms van did same thing it wasn't driven for almost a month and them rotors get surface rust right on them, so I would say Typical you probably never notice a cars unless you have rims that allow you to see the rotors.

I hear you there Casey!! The Venture is My first Road bike. Then this Honda CB450SC is my second. I was reading on the history of mine and it said something about an option to have the Nylon Saddle bag. I been trying to find one but so far no luck but wouldn't be hard to put saddle bags on it, I haven't figured his/her name out yet but Makes me miss my 1980 YZ250! I am almost wondering what tires to go with because I am thinking I can throw all terrain tires on it, Haven't decided really but I am getting some crazy ideas for this bike. I have taken it to a off road trail and seemed to do ok. Alot better then our beast do at least if I fall over on it, would not be hard to get it back straight. I would love to pull off the road and get far enuff from the road that I can hear a bunny hoping thru the meadow down below. Yes sounds like serenity to me!!

its mainly trying to get the passages clean and keeping the air jets and fuel jets seperate and in the right place. You will need a Number 3 Phillips to get the screws Of I used my 1/8 drive with the adapter on it that held screws. I then went to hardware store and bought the hex key screws.... My opinion the carbs are not hard at all. But there is some who struggle with them.

It is the last production year with the 450cc and it seems peppier the gas tank is not the gas tank for it, its off a 700cc

Actually Chain Drive....

Today I was cruising thru facebook looking for something to do. Well I found a 1986 Honda Nighthawk I just couldn't pass it up the guy was asking 600 for it so I snagged it for $560. It needs a couple of things but thanks to you all it looks easy peasy... One it needs push cable. But this little thing Moves. I let my buddy ride it and he comes back is this a 6 speed? I think it is 5 this hole time so shows what i know we found down on the motor and sure enuff its a 6 speed!! SO was thinking I would give it to my son as a replacement for his Rebel.. But after riding it I am not sure if it would be for him I don't need him killing his self on it. I can tell carbs need synced and a few other things but nothing too major that I can tell. So who here has owned one and what should I look for on this neat little thing?

I would say it runs better then mine with airbox off... They don't like that one bit they need air restriction....

Now to get the bumper off... gotta run to my friends house who also has a 2002 Tahoe and see where the latches are so i can put a new bumper on and tailgate possibly...

Well my dreams were shattered... I got more then what my truck booked for... would have been nice to get my truck tooken care of before the value tanked this month!! I still have my truck and retained it for blue book value of a Fair vehicle...
