    2006 Midnight Venture
  1. Michael, Just a couple days ago our group went on a ride and I switched to reserve at 187 miles. About 40 miles of that was an escort so it was at 50 mph but the rest was at 70 or above. I was surprised that it did that good. I need to sync the carbs and do some more seafoam again.
  2. cwhite I have the 130, it feels like it takes off a 100 lbs from the front end, I also lowered the front shocks.
  3. I have put 1 1/2 risers on venture and did not have to change any cables or lines.
  4. The Commander II will make a big difference in handling and it still looks very big compared to a lot of other bikes.
  5. Drove a slingshot at Rapid City, it was a fun ride but you lose too much of the bike feel. It would be fun to have but for now I'll stick with a venture. The new F3 spyder looks like it would be a better fit for me than the regular spyder. Just my:2cents: worth.
  6. Motiv-- not sure where Lithchfield is but if you are thru northwest Nebraska at anytime we can put the corbin on your bike and you can try it out. I have had one on four different bikes and think they are great. They are hard, but once broke in they feel good.
  7. Hey Rob, I also went from a Warrior to the RSV. Quite a difference. To make more room on the RSV I took the boards from the back and mounted them on the front to make more room when your feet are down. This is the first bike I have had with boards. Last week I lowered the front shocks and it handles much better now, I put the 130 Michelin on last year and that helped. I've only had this a couple years so still changing things. You will really like the bike when you get some miles on it. You can also change the seat to give you more room, the corbin seat will move you down and back. Have fun with the new ride.
  8. Got the decals today. They look great. Will have to find a place on the Midnight to put them so they show up good. Thanks Don:clap2:
  9. Hey Eck, that does look good. It got above freezing here today, felt pretty good. That good looking bike is in all the pictures except the two. That wing does float doesn't it? All the old barns up in this country have pretty much been torn down but it is nice to see.
  10. Just run across this looking at Indian in Sturgis, they have an 06 RSMV for $4500. They also have 2 Roadmasters in stock according to their website. Look them up, it can't be all that far from Idaho. The new place up there is pretty nice. I am 150 miles from Sturgis, so I get up there several times in the summer. Hope you find a bike soon, they say spring is just around the corner. See ya.
  11. Also................Life is like a roll of toilet paper...the smaller it gets, the faster it goes!!!
  12. One of the companies is "mspevents.com" There is also one that is always at Black Hills Harley, they may be able to tell you who, I can't find it right now.
  13. Put me down for two, also, or maybe should say two too. Thanks Freebird, those look great.
  14. Fairly new here but in the last year have gained a lot of info on the RSV. Great bike and this is a vast store of info. Keep up the good work and is the best $12 you could spend. Thanks a lot for your effort.
