  1. It was about 10 years ago that I sold my last 1st gen. Well, I don't live in crazy town (Las Vegas) anymore and I just brought home my new to me '10 RSV. I now live in southwestern Kentucky and bought it from a friend and former colleague in Charlotte, NC. So, what do you do when you haven't ridden in 10 years and have never ridden a 2nd Gen? You fly in and ride it home. 591.5 miles and a sore ass later it is in my garage, at home. Does anyone gave stock pipes in good condition they would like to trade for these?

  2. I’ve never gotten that kind of mileage on a rear, my last two MC rears added together made 14k. A Shinko and a Michelin. That’s when I went darkside.

  4. The fist picture is from last summer, when I took off carburetors and replaced fuel lines, spark plugs and other small things. The last two pictures are from last Thursday, when I prepare everything for engine removal work. I hope I will update this soon

  9. We never made it to Lake Cumberland, we went to Cumberland Falls and ended up staying at the lodge there and riding some cool mountain roads. Rode the Yamaha thru a little place called Yamacraw and up n over the mountain. As usual I didn’t think to take pics but here’s one where I was waiting for the barrel that I shoved the wife in to surface. Never found it. Heading home tomorrow since storms are moving in.

  13. we got in about 75 miles today and I made some poor choices on roads so we got about 10 miles of rough roads but the rest was good and we enjoyed it.

  15. oh yeah, we followed the front wheel for about 200 miles yesterday we had a couple of small errands to run about 30 miles apart but the rest was miles of smiles. All the good stuff about the bike and the frustrating stuff on the bike was still there but it all together was therapeutic.
