videoarizona Posted July 14, 2020 #2 Posted July 14, 2020 What's wrong with yours, Jay? All the problems I've heard of stem from a dirty or loose connector inside the fairing at the radio junction. Mine freezes up and doesn't work until I take the connector apart and clean it good.

Mine freezes up and doesn't work until I take the connector apart and clean it good.It's pulled loose from the mounting plate and pieces of the plastic housing that secure the screw ferrels are gone. I think it was caused by brake fluid that splashed on it while bleeding the clutch several years ago. I'm trying to repair it again, but eventually I'm going to need a new housing or a complete remote. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

He's talking about the handle bar mounted "Head Unit". There is a new one for sale in the 2nd Gen Parts thread.
