cimmer Posted March 27, 2018 Share #1 Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) Here is a website out of New Zealand, I think, that has a lot of information on the 1st Gen Ventures. Even though it is in New Zealand Venture were not that much different from ours and the information works for us also and the site is in English. They also have a copy of the service manual and owner manuals that you can down load for your use. The link is https://www.yamahaventure.nl/xvz-1300.html Or use this link for information on all the Ventures also.. https://www.yamahaventure.nl/ Hope this helps you out. Rick F. Freebird Posted March 27, 2018 Share #3 Posted March 27, 2018 No reason to go elsewhere for service manuals. We have them here. For the 1200 and 1300. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?3384-First-Gen-Service-Manuals
SpencerPJ Posted March 27, 2018 Share #4 Posted March 27, 2018 It might be nice, but ours is the Best. I'd never go anywhere besides our seasoned Gen 1 masters for advise.

As in old, smelly, tough, cantankerous, knowledgeable, faster than a 2nd Gen seasoned?

Flyinfool Posted March 28, 2018 Share #7 Posted March 28, 2018 Interesting That NZ site got their wiring diagrams from VR.org. The ones they have are the ones that were drawn by our member Dingy. I have no way to know if Dingy is aware (or cares) that they are using his work.
