Animal Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Three wheeler that leans like a bike (up to 45 degrees), when you TURN THE WHEEL take a look at this and you decide.... http://www.carver-worldwide.com/Home/Index.asp?nc=1
lonestarmedic Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Weird trike type thing but I bet it's a blast to run. Probably too expensive once it gets to the U.S. Can I put a small block in it? JB
dynodon Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Legally a Motorcycle in the US (at least in all state I think) like other trikes, but is is a trike, three wheels. The lean makes it neater than the typical trike though.
seforeman Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 It may legally be a motorcycle - but they say "steers like a car"...this is like the stallion - if it has a "steering wheel" - sorry - its getting to close to a car (automatic transmissions, enclosed roofs, air conditioning ... please). Stuart
Yama Mama Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I am not sure what it is, but I like it. I think they named it all wrong however, it should be called an "ELIFINO". Peggy
Animal Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 I forgot to mention: the hard top comes off ! I saw it on one of the discovery channels...
Animal Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 I am not sure what it is, but I like it. I think they named it all wrong however, it should be called an "ELIFINO". Peggy :rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf: Wish I had thought of that - I would have put in in the poll!
Freebird Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I guess technically it's a trike...to me though...it's more of a cage.
flb_78 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 If I'm spending that much money, Ill get an Ariel Atom.. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaWoo82zNUA]YouTube - Top Gear - Ariel Atom - BBC[/ame]
Acadieman Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I guess its weird just like a First Gen:stirthepot:
SaltyDawg Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I have read up on this and they are considered a trike requiring the proper head gear. There are plans to make one with a bigger motor, heating, and ac. They are not cheap. Something like $30,000 euro or higher. I would love to have one of them though.
Blackjack Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 It's a Trikage, of course... That looks like great fun! Terry
wolfman1 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Don't know but looks really kool! I want one!!! Maybe it's hermaphroditic? :rotf: Steve
Rickstir51 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 looks like something OSHA would design to make motorcycling safer
Animal Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 I guess its weird just like a First Gen:stirthepot:
dr.nemo Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 you Wear A Seatbelt...turn A Steering Wheel...and Are Enclosed Within Glass And Doors...sounds Like A Corner Leaning Car...
loehring Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Here's another one. It looks like they're pretty close to production. I'm on the mailing list and they sent our a survey a couple months ago about some styling adjustments. www.flytheroad.com You just gotta love the name!!

juggler Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 It's "Cake" and I want to ride (or is that drive it?) at least once.
juggler Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 This owner has good taste in vehicles ... well-known world traveler! Likes to ride Ventures. Now that's what I want to see parked in my driveway. Which one of them you ask? All of those!
Poledar Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 The nerve of some people....you can call the Gen I's weird if you want, but if it wasn't for them, you wouldn't be riding what you do...probably be on one of those Battlestar Galactica's better known as a Gold Wing!!!:no-no-no:
