GolfVenture Posted August 6, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2014 Trying to help my neighbor out. This trunk maybe beyond repair, but i thought I would 1st ask the group. Please see attachment. There are some big chunks missing and a few smaller chunks. The are a lot of cracks. If he could find one the same color and shine to match his MKII he probably buy it. Your thoughts? videoarizona Posted August 6, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2014 I would think with Plastex or similar, that could be rebuilt. Or...put an aluminum plate underneath or on both sides. But first weld the plastic together. I would try to fix it.
slowrollwv Posted August 6, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 6, 2014 That is a lot of damage. It will take some time to fix but it can be done. I would try to find another from a parts bike.
