bmxndad Posted October 10, 2012 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2012 My 99 RSV will start fine in neutral. But will not turn over when in gear with the clutch pulled in. If it doesn't recognize the clutch is in it won't engage starter (EDIT) Above applies only if in gear) If it is in gear it won't start with sidestand down period...unless the switch is faulty. I know for sure it will start with bike in neutral at any rate, I do it all the time. Just for grins, make sure you check the kill switch on the right side.
