Radio Shack has a VGA to composite video adapter for 80 bucks put you can find them much cheaper online. Since your TV has a s-video plug you can buy a VGA-to s-video cable real cheap. Look at New Egg and Tiger Direct.

or you can buy a high density D-15 connector and a s-video connector and build your own only takes about 15 mins to build.

I will check out the other sites too but I did just find this. What do you think? http://stores.nextag.com/store/4857524/product/950019112/USB-Male-A-to

I have liked Belkin for a long time. I haven't had a need for a cable for a long time either. Gotta agree with Don's comment about Monster. I don't know about their quality anymore but way overpriced.

Depending on what you want to do, you can google 'usb video adapter' and find all kinds of ways to attach a second monitor.

You can extend the desktop, mirror the display, capture video from the computer to an external recorder, or record external analog or digital video onto the computer, and sometimes do many of the above simultaneously. It depends on the hardware you buy and the software that comes with it.

All kinds of possibilities for under $100, and many are under $50.

Sewell makes a PC to TV converter Part No. SW-22050 to convert your vga output to rca. I bought it about 6 months ago so it should be a current product. I use it to connect my onld CRT TV to a PC dedicated as a home entertainment PC. You'll have to play around with the unit to get the best picure. The instructions are poor.

Yes, I know it seems pointless with an old TV but I can stream movies, record local tv, and access internet radio stations all in on unit. The unit cost $32.49. You could also go with a video card of various flavors.

:lightbulb:
