PastorPaul Posted June 22, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 22, 2010 My wife and I were comming back from Aiken SC this morning. We had a truck in front of us kick up a bunch of rock laying on the road. We got hit with some of them and one punctured the radiator. Does any body have a radiator for a 2003 royal star midnight venture laying around. We are grounded till we get another radiator. mini-muffin Posted June 22, 2010 Share #2 Posted June 22, 2010 Glad it was just your radiator. Hope you can get one. Margaret
V7Goose Posted June 22, 2010 Share #3 Posted June 22, 2010 Wow, that's hard luck - first time I heard of this actually happening. When I put on a gril guard, I thought it was just for the looks - now I'm happy it's there. Best of luck finding a replacement. Goose

dynodon Posted June 22, 2010 Share #5 Posted June 22, 2010 Should be available through Yamaha, but if trying to save money, check e-bay, should be some bikes being parted out.

mm482 Posted June 22, 2010 Share #8 Posted June 22, 2010 A good radiator repair shop may be able to repair yours. If you only have one or two small holes, I would check with them. Earl:fingers-crossed-emo
KiteSquid Posted June 22, 2010 Share #9 Posted June 22, 2010 Have you taken it to a local Radiator shop to see if it is repairable for a reasonable cost?

Besides great looking I don't think much could get thru to the radiator core to damage it. Larry
Sylvester Posted June 22, 2010 Share #12 Posted June 22, 2010 I have a reconditioned radiator for a RSV. It develped a leak years ago and Yamaha was taking too long for a replacement. I had it repaired so I could keep riding. Months later I got a new replacement and the dealer told me to keep the one I had repaired. It works fine without any problems. Let me know if you need it.
