Yama Mama Posted August 16, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2009 I have been a nurse in a school district for 18 years. Every year when it gets to be the week before school starts up again, I am afraid I get a bit down. I know I am spoiled, I get more time off than other nursing jobs. I admit I am spoiled. So tonight I was shopping with Ron and I spotted a little girl in the store, who I know goes to the school where I worked. Her eyes lit up and she ran over to give me a hug. I think it was God's way of making me remember why I work where I do. Silly me. Yama Mama

Aussie Annie Posted August 16, 2009 Share #3 Posted August 16, 2009 Nice feeling isn't it?? Very similar feelings/reason I worked with Interlectually challenged adults for so long. They in many ways were "child like" in their behaviour and made you feel so good.
