Guitar music?

Recommended Posts

I'm finally got myself an ipod shuffle. Haven't listened to music much for the last 20 years or so....

I would like to find some "easy listening" (do they still call it that?) guitar music to put on this little contraption.

Does anyone have any artrist they recomend that i could download off itunes?

Iowawegian....who's really trying hard to understand all these new fangled gadgets.

Not sure what your tastes are, but I love Robin Trower for easy listening guitar. One of my favorites is the album "In City Dreams". Here is a video of one of the songs off this album:

I got to throw in Leo Kottke. Not well known but his album "Regards from Chuck Pink" is excellent. Full of his unique guitar style and humorous stories. If you haven't seen him play you would swear there are several guitars.

Then again...anything by Carlos Santana, Stephen Stills, Eric Clapton and B.B. King are fine by me.

wait till you hear him playing some of the other stringed insturments he has. one looks to be a 12 string guitar/mandolin combo or something. you can get all his cds off itunes store, they are 9.99.

GREAT driving music.

soon i'll have a bike with speakers and i can see if it's good riding music :)

As as a guitar student, Tommy Emmanuel never ceases to amaze me. I could listen to Guitar Boogie all day long. He also has nice tutorials and travels all over the world giving classes. A great guy and a phenomenal guitarist.
