+Pros & -Cons / front to Rear???

Front tires have less tread, the rubber is believed to be softer and usually have a lower weight rating.

The only pro is that you'll be able to take the hub out of the wheel more often to lube it because you'll be changing tires more often.

A slightly more common practice is to put a rear tire on the front, because rear tires are made with more rubber and will last longer. I'm running this way now, and like it. And maybe I can get through a whole 12 months without having to replace a tire.

I would have to take a durometer reading of the front and rear tire before I would think about swapping them front to rear.

MOST of your braking happens with the front tire....... so it needs to be grippy.

But too soft of a compound will equate to faster tire wear.

It is a trade-off, but be informed. The place you do NOT want to find out if you don't have enough grip is on the streets!!!!!!!!!
