I have had my Computerized Monitoring fuse blow twice in the last couple of days.it knocks out everything fuel gauge, clock, tach. it has the old fuse box but it looks like new. back is not worn. fuses fit nice and snug. the box list that as a 15 amp fuse. any thoughts from anyone at what to look at ??? i was cleaning out the shed and garage saturday and came across my old bike cover for my 83 venture. cleaned it off and put in on my 06rsv and it is a little snug but it does fit. you can still read the venture logo on both sides.

Quick question: My buddy is putting the clutch back together, he wanted to know " if the clutch springs are torqued to a certain setting or just good and snug"?? thanks

Hi All. New guy from BC here but have been riding my '84 VR for 15 years and enjoy reading the posts here. Somewhere I saw one about replacing the shift linkage bushings with a generic hardware type since they don't appear to be available from Yamaha. Now that I'm replacing my stator I'd like to snug things up in the shifter as well. Anybody remember where I may have seen this or be aware of a serviceable replacement? Thanks!!

On the way to Branson, MO. I went to downshift getting off at my exit and Hmmmm my foot couldnt find the shifter, I finally had to look down and it was laying on the floorboard. Slid it back on and held it on with the inside of my boot unitl we fould a Yamaha Dealer about an hour later who fixed me up. Just wanted to throw this out there, ya'll might just want be sure everything is snug down there.
