  1. Just found a neat ccmbo horn and modulator. The banshee air horn is loud, the relay modulates your head light, and it also let,s you keep the stock horn in play for a friendly "beep beep" at the neighbor. The required relay is optional. The horn can be wired normally. You can choose not to modulate the headlight and the air horn has selectable 1/4 or 1/2 second delay between the beep or the blast. Going to own one as soon as I have a spare $100.
  2. ok i have an old dell e510 it has 512 mb of ram yeah i know thats and old computer well it can be up dated to 4gb of ram. well i went on to flebay and got me 2 gb of ram. 1 stick each of 1 gb. after installing these things. the darn computer just went beep beep beep. and would not boot up? so take it apart again remove this ram place back the old ones and bam shes running again. after a carefull look they sent me what looks like a HP ram? now im no computer whiz but im pretty sure that wont work. after sending a request to the store on flebay they said its a generic one and they never had problems with this ram working before in my type of dell? and made a nasty remark that they left positive on my report. but if they get a negitive from me they will not exchange this. so looks like im out $24 bucks. unless im installing it wrong.
  3. Been a few postings latley concerning Stebel Horns, and horns in general. Last few days I've been researching " Horns " as to the loudest avialable. I drove around the other day, looking for " Stebel " Horns, couple of auto parts, and 2 motorcycle dealers. The answer was " we don't carry them " . Hmmm ?? Ok, yesterday I was at local auto parts, to get something else, I noticed Horns on the shelf, labled, " CARRAND HORNS " They were shaped, about the same as the " Volvo Horns " or " Fiamm " car horns that we are all familiar with. These were Labled, " Magnum Blaster, Horn, 138 Decibels " So on close examination, I see they are actually made by " STEBEL " !!! --Apparently, Stebel Horns, are being sold in the U.S. Under other brand Names -- So I bought one, the " High Tone " took it home, and Tried it on The bench with spare Battery, WOW!!! IT WAS LOUD. !!!! I compared to my bike which has 2 of the WOLO, ( same as Volvo, and Fiamm style ) ( 119 DB ) And the original BEEP Beep OEM Yamaha installed. ( total of 4 units installed ) ----- THE ONE, HIGH TONE, STEBEL 138DB WAS LOUDER, THEN THE 4 HORNS INSTALLED ON THE BIKE !!!! ---It actually hurt my ears, the bike installation, did not. ( Test, done , INSIDE the garage, with doors closed ) So I ran down and bought the Low tone, I installed the Two STEBEL's in place of the 2 WOLO's, and My - &*$%^ are they loud. No Air pump to mess with. I have them mounted Inside the Air Intaks on each fairing. Just remove the Plastic Grill, an Stuff them into the Air Intakes. Its a tight fit, but they do go in. The " Carrand Horns " P/n is 3-0115 and 3-0114--- The instructions, claim they should be fused at 10 Amps-- Each---- I am useing a Bosh Relay, and #16 Wires, and have a 15 AMP ATM type, fuse, feeding power to the Bosh Relay. Useing #16 stranded wire, to carry Power. Stock Horn Switch supplies a Ground to the Relay Solinoid. I'm not saying this is the best set-up, but, ---- I'm Happy with it !!!! Beep Beep Beep, ( no more of that nonsence !! ) Bye the way, Its still Raining in Seattle !!!!
  4. Anyone that might have an original horn off their RSV, I am interested in putting one on my wife's 650 Silverado. The little "beep beep" horn just does not cut it. Email or PM me and let me know what you want for it. Thanks EDIT Thanks for looking, but think I will just get a Stebel horn. (see my other post)
  5. Hi to all, I have a 99 venture and on the weekend my cassette would not eject. When I hit the button I could hear a beep through my radio. Has anyone else experienced this before? Screaming Red
