Yamaha has released the 2009 RSV and RSTD models and not a dam thing has changed. No upgrade in the sound system, no FI, no increase in HP etc.. Oh well I guess I'll be keeping my 2006 RSTD with the newly purchased mustang seat..

I just listed a new RSTD Mustang seat on Ebay. I took it in for trade on a backrest that I made for another board member. It is for sale cheap because I don't care for the seating position it gives. It pushes you forward about 2 inches farther than the stock seat. The item number is 120279187965. AL -
We have had a couple of different video games over the last few years, but this Christmas the 16 year old grandson got an X-Box 360. I have never gotten into these things much, but I am amazed at the graphics on this thing. The amount of detail is phenominal. We have been racing the different cars on the different tracks and it is almost like being in the drivers seat. One of the cars is a late 60's Shelby Mustang and the sound is just like the Mustang in the movie Bullet. I could not have imagined how life like this could be, especially when I remember the first interactive video game we played at home was "pong" or something like that. RandyA

Greetings: I ride a 2006 RSTD and the past few rides my shoulders and back get quite sore/tired resulting in my having to stop every 30-40 minutes. I have ridden about 18,000 km this past year and this is getting worse -( it was not bad at the start) I have been thinking about the Mustang seat and backrest. Those of you who have switched to a Mustang or even a Corbin - did you find this helped the stiffness and soreness? How about highway pegs - will that also help? Thanks in advance Eugene

About two years ago, I upgraded my seat to a Mustang. Unfortunetly, I didn't order the one with the backrest. Now here I am wanting the backrest, but don't want to buy a whole new seat. Does anyone know how to add a backrest to a Mustang, or know of anyone who can? Mustang cannot add it on. I have to spend $700.00 for a new seat. Or better yet...knowing the ingenious members we have here, does anyone have any other possible homemade solutions? My back thanks you!

I'm new to the forum , which it's very useful here my question ,i have an online deal for a yamaha comfort cruise seat and pillow , is there someone having this seat can give an appreciation? or about the other manufacturers, mustang ,corbin etc.. thank you

I have an 05 RSTD. I am looking at the Ultimate seat or the mustang seat, either one more comfortable than the other or will one last better? Thanks for the input. Bill
