  1. Ordered the SMH10. guess theirs a slight problem with the SMH10r antenna if talking with someone riding on your right side
  2. which set would be the best to buy? the Sena SMH10 or Sena10R the R is a little smaller unit with 2 less hours of use and the mikes are different. only $15.00 difference in price so not worried about cost just function and don't think the 2 hour difference in run time before recharging is a big deal. is being smaller harder to use with gloves?
  3. wife wants to talk while riding, been looking at Sena but I don't know anyone to help install them . Is it simple to install or should I keep trying to find someone to do it. Get confused when they start talking about syncing, blue tooth, reaching up to talk, I'm confused just typing this out. also I see they have a controller for the handle bars for an extra $99.00 is it worth it? may need to be walked through this like a six year old.
  4. went to a HD dealer open house in Lapeer MI, had hot dogs a cold drink with the wife. Came home call my B/L to come in and take a ride on the Harley followed on the RSTD. He has not rode in over forty years so a was happy with a short 10 mile ride.

  10. I get my pads from d2moto.com lowest prices I've found for pads
  11. If you take pucs route when headed home try going to Port Huron and cross back to Canada take 40 south to the 401 into Windsor.
  12. So how is the led tail lite bulb holding up ? did you have to add a load resister? thinking about just adding the led tail lite bulb.
  13. Good to hear you're still around. stay away from the snow machine and all will be good.
  14. Best of luck, prayers to you. Stop messing with that snow machine to keep the stress down.
  15. take extra gas as they close early down that way. Once in the mts don't push your gas range the fuel is far from each other when you get away from the main areas. that is why your going right.
  16. Good find. you will enjoy the ride. May take a couple of rides to get use to the weight but find once you relax you have a hell of a bike.
  17. Must have been a busy day and night that ole Puc didn't sneak in here to post a couple of pic's or say something, too bad Tippy didn't snap a few pic's of puc out of his comfort zone.

    Detroit

check on line for the greenfield village events some weeks nothing is going on. It does cost separate for each section, but either or both are worth the cost.
  19. Hey Don, you can go ride one and not buy it.
  20. My star chapter rode the Indians on a demo day and I rode the RM, before we took off the guide walked around each rider to help with the location of the controls and how they worked and I said what about the heat some are talking about and he pointed out the seat heater switch on the right side of the seat and said they come on when you start the bike and most don't know that and it gets really hot and turned it off. The RM was a great ride and the trans only made a clunk once in awhile but my rstd and Harley does that sometimes. handled great and had plenty of power to get up and go. I did not use the radio because I wanted to hear the engine and listen for noises and rattled I found none. Don't remember how many mile were on the bike but if I an extra 30 grand would get one.
  21. good thing they didn't have cell phones with cameras back in the day.
