ok, have had a set of these for 4 or 5 years now. absolutely love them. i know what my tire pressure is all the time. mine are tire guard from show chrome. actually on my second set, the monitor on the first one quit after 3 yrs. tells me tire temp if i want it to . i'm to old to get down n check tire pressure all the time. bought a set for my rid'n bud too for his goldwing. wonderful addition to the bike!!!!!🤩🤩🤩

oil cleaner is the oil pan. from tightening the drain plug to tight the expansion n contraction of get'n the motor hot, where the drain plug screws in, it cracked. so when i looked up the part n orderted it, it was called the oil cleraner. from the pic there isn't anything fancy or complicated to it, but thought i would ask.🙄

has anyone replaced the oil cleaner on their rsv. mine was cracked the last time i went to change the oil. i ordered a new one and just wondered if there anything special to watch for when chang'n it out. i don't want to have any surprises!

i believe my rear shock is about done, oil dripin out of it and not holdin any air pressure to speak of. where do i go or look for replacement?

reminds me of the fun i had 3 years ago when i went! loved every minute of it in that area. had probably 20 roads like that, that i rode on! would love to go back again. the moonshiner 28, rattler, diamond back, devils triangle, and the blue ridge parkway to just name a few. absolutely love those kind of roads, look for them all the time. ride wisconsin's little tail of the dragon at least twice a year. found alot of other roads like that in wisconsin too!

itz been up on jacks for 2 days now and i've already blown air threw with air compressor n no more oil left.gonna measure when i go to put oil back in but there ain't gonna be no 2 quarts. yes it tiz a mystery where the rest of the oil went. thats kinda why i posted' ta see if anyone else had this problem. thanks for your input!

ok so i drained my front fork oil, didnt get anywhere close to 553 cc's of oil out of it, even if i put both sides together. is that normal. got 60 some thousand miles on bike. no leaks that i ever saw or found. oil was dirty. gonna put 553cc's back in it when i fill it back up!

brings me closer to the god of my understanding, nothing can beat that. feelin the freedom of the open rode, be'n a big part of the world around me. soak'n up the wind n the sun shine, beautiful scenery to enjoy n find'n new places to ride to n xplore n friends to meet!

all ready rid'n with my hands behind the levers with pressure, still goes off on the same bumps!

try to wave all time but sometimes it just isn't safe. got a guy that rides along sometimes just doesn't care one way or the other. try to be as friendly to others as much as possible, we're all in this together!

got nothing on the levers, have also pushed out on the levers and up on the foot brake, think'n the same thing you were. got me bewilderd. thats why i need fresh input. maybe my speed sensor is go'n bad but it shows no other problems:think:

go'n down the road, set's just fine n works fine, but as soon as i hit a big bump it kicks itself off, then i get 4 flashes of the cruise lites. checked the manuel and it tells me that there is something wrong with the speed sensor. checked the wiring and plug ins. just don't know what to check next. any ideas.

i had to cut my hinge to get into my saddlebag. looking for left side saddlebag hinge.

finally found freebirds thread, there is no electric to the ais so nothing to unhook. thanks to all

when you plug the AIS system, are you supposed to unplug the electric system? gonna plug the big tubes this week, i'm on vacation n got time, just been wonder'n a long time if you unplug the wires off each valve or not. dont ever remmeber read'n anythin bout that! thanks for the feed back:confused24:

went down to tail of the dragon 3 yrs ago. loved every minute of my time down there. went on line to famous motor cycle roads to ride in that area, gave me a map of 20 roads to ride in that area. printed it off n took it with me. met so many nice folks everywhere all the time i was down there, they would ask where i was going n say while your in that area, go out n ride county road such n such, did it and always had a good ride. first road i road was called the rattler, scraped my floorboards 3 times in the first 5 miles, said to self, slow youz a-- down or your gonna get hurt. next one i rode was called the diamond back, ended up kiss'n a gardrail, very lighty but still kissed it none the less. stopped very shortly after that, surveyed the damage, small scuff mark on the saddlebag that will stay forever as a reminder.said Thanks to the man upstairs for watchin over me. might go back again this year, haven't decided yet. got 10 days at laborday weekend:12101:
